I had a Memory Maker for our vacation August 23 - August 31.

I have downloaded ALL of the memory maker photo's to my laptop

My last Disney vacation I made a photobook on the Disney website using both MM photo's and my personal photos.

I understand their are cheaper options for photobooks, but I like the background images and stickers available on the Disney website. I assume I can make something similar on another site such as Mixbook, but I don't have the time right now to search out all these backgrounds and clipart images.

With the Memory Maker you have 45 days until the photo's expire.

So, I have all my Memory Maker photo's and I have all my personal photo's taken.

Am I able to use the Disney Photobook AFTER that 45 days?

I am making a bunch of assumptions....

I assume that once the 45 days is expired my Memory Maker photo's won't come up on the Memory Maker photobook software. However, there is an option to "Add Photo". Am I able to go in and re-add any photo's I want in that software when I am ready to make the book?

Basically, I don't have the time to make the book right now and want to make it later when I have some down time. Am I able to do that after the 45 day expiry?

Shutterfly has a nice Disney photobook and there are always discounts available.

Oh, cool. There are so many photobook options out there. Typically I use Mixbook, but trying to locate all the background and clip art images to use would be such a pain in the butt. I was going to use the Disney site because those are already there and all I need to worry about is selecting which photo's to use.

I will check out the shutterfly option.

Any others?

Another option I have used in Shutterfly is the ability to make a photo a background. This way you can use one of your WDW photos as a background and put other pictures on top of it. I try to use a not too busy picture as my background. Clip art is another story. While Shutterfly does have Disney clip art - it is not as much as the Disney site. I made a Disney book once about 7 years ago. One thing I did not like about it then was they limited the amount of pages. We had a lot of pictures from our 2 week trip and really had to scale down on which photos to use. Also, at the time there were not that many layouts. With Shutterfly - you can use a layout that shows a certain amount of photos - but you can add a photobox or a dialog box.

Shutterfly all the way. They have a Disney "package" for an upcharge and often run a code for a free 8x8 hardcover photobook. As a matter of fact, there's a free book offer out good through Sunday, not that that would apply since you want more time but it's something to think about. My only complaint I've ever had with Shutterfly is the amount of time it takes to upload a mass amount of photos. Last year it took HOURS to upload all our Disney photos but once that was done it is a breeze.
