Memory Maker Help

We just visited WDW this June and I have a few ?s on the Memory Maker. We pre-purchases the Memory Maker with our vacation package through Disney and I want to know if I can somehow download any of my personal pictures that I took while we were there and utilize the Memory Maker software with any of those personal pics. I have lots that I took myself. Disappointed this time (5th trip) and we only got a handful- yup, like 4 or 5 pics from photo pass photographers. It was a shame. Don't know if it's because it was so crowded. They were so busy and we barely saw any photographers in the first place. Even went to several character breakfasts, stayed at a deluxe resort, we only saw about 2 or 3 the whole week. Very unlike to previous trips when they were everywhere snapping your pic right and left. Needless to say, I got a lot of great shots but I'm hopeful I can still use the memory maker since I already paid for it. Any help to point me in the right direction is highly appreciated! Unfortunately, you cannot use use the editing software on your own photos. We were there May 31-June 12 and had several hundred photos taken. If you have not downloaded any of the photos or activated the entitlement, you can save it for a future trip. Photopass photographer locations can be found on the MDE app.
