Memory maker- 3 rooms in party

I just purchased MM for our party of 9 (prices going up tomorrow, FYI), and I want to know if all 9 of us are linked if we are all linked on one MDE account as a primary account holder (my mom), and 8 of us as Family & Friends (parents and kids).

I made the purchase, but didn't see a place to link everyone. There are some rides my mother won't be riding, but the rest of us will. Will all of our pictures show up due to our Magic Bands being linked to that account?

What if we ride an attraction together, but are not all in the same car? Will we then have additional pictures of everyone or are we only entitled to the one photo of the primary account holder.

Do I need to do anything additional?

Does anyone know if there are long lines for photopass photographers during the Christmas peak time?

If you are all link with MDE friends and family you are good...do not need to do anything else. Now you are assigned as the download person in charge...

Make sure in MDE you are not only linked but allowed to see each other’s pictures. We had 3 rooms and 18 people this summer and we did not have any issues with ride photos at all. We got one of each group of people on the ride (so if 6 of us rode Buzz Lightyear, we got 3 photos- 1 for each group of 2 in a car…). It only needed the “main” account person in each room to allow the photos to be viewed and then anyone under them would be included.

Ditto - you need to be listed as "family and friends" in MDE but also need to edit each person to enable "this person can view and purchase my photos".

When any of you gets a picture at a photopass photographer, anyone can have their band scanned and it will be captured. You'll get ride photos even if all are not on the ride together.

When it comes time to download after your trip, though, only the person who purchased MM can actually do the download. For my family, that means we downloaded once before doing any edits/borders/stickers to make sure we had a copy of the originals. Then my dad (the owner) shared his login with us so we could each add borders and effects to pictures if we wanted and also download those edited pictures.

My favorite MM tip: If you do something like Enchanted Tales with Belle or Jedi Training you will receive a photopass card with all pictures of all participants on it. This will be a LOT of pictures of your group, but also all the strangers who did the attraction with you. I highly recommend that you take the card to the photo shop (near the entrance of each park and at DTD) where they can quickly select just your group and load them into your account, leaving off all the strangers. You *can* load the photos yourself from your computer, but you will get all the photos and the MM site is a bit slow and cumbersome - it will take a LONG time to individually delete shots you don't need or even to scroll around them when looking at your account.

I just want to clarify and make sure I understand what you are saying since we have a slightly different situation.

Our friends are staying off site and we are on site. (But we all have magic bands if that matters). They purchased Memory Maker and we are going to share it with them. The main account holder on their account and I (the main account holder for my family) are now linked through MDE and I have given her permission to view, edit and purchase my photo pass pictures.

Does she need to friend my DH and kids too? Or since they are linked to me and I am linked to her, will we be OK? Don't want to miss out on any pictures.

We were all on site so I am not positive how it will work for off site. However, as long as you have the kids under your account and have given permission for photos to your friend that should work- or that is how it worked for us. My DH and DS were on my account. My mother and sister then each had an account with everyone else under theirs. We all made sure we had given each other permission to view and purchase photos (so your friend should give you permission just so you can see them- they will be the only ones who can download because they own the MM).

I believe MM is tied to magic bands, not necessarily rooms, but I would see if there are any experts out there who have a more definitive answer for that part of the question...

Wish I knew about the increase, of course it only increased for pre order, which should tell them something that 199 was too much to start with or they would sell like hot cakes in the parks.
