Memorial Weekend...can get a 2 bedroom? How are the crowds?

There is a great DING ON SW for Memorial Weekend....maybe a quick 3 day trip. I just called MS now. How are crowds that weekend? Anyone been there? IS it not worth a quick trip??? We are going in Aug. for 8 nights.

We did a quick trip last year Memorial Day Weekend and had a BLAST!!! Went to the parks till noonish and went swimming till @ 4 then back to the parks.

Would love to do it againthis year but need to save points for December 08 when we bring extended family.

That weekend will definitely be busy, but the crowds are manageable. We also try to leave mid day and either do the pool or something around the resort.

I think I have LOST MY MIND. I am soooo excited about DVC and I want to go sooooooooo bad despite the fact that we are going in Aug. and we just went in Jan. but we just became members so I WANT TO GO. But my inner voice that is not DISNEY OBSSESSED is starting to remind me of "oh that is baseball season...you will be at a tournament" "dd will be in rehearsals that weekend for school show" SO as tempting at it is..I HAVE DECIDED TO SCRATCH THAT TRIP. BOOHOOOO. It is so hard though when those dings come out. I just want to DROP everything and go HOME.

My friend that went in Sept last year said they were HORRIBLE. SO I guess we will those to contend with in Aug.

Star Wars Weekend actually starts the weekend after Memorial Day June 1. we were going specifically for that for our kids so we booked over that weekend and after but found out it starts the day after we leave..when I booked I just assumed it was in May since that's what it has been..but when I saw on the Disney website the dates for 2007, was not very happy..oh well I'm sure we'll have anyway..
