Memorial week crowds

Could anyone that has ever gone to WDW the week of Memorial Day tell me how the crowds are? We've always gone in March or April, but since our dd is now in high school we don't want to take her out for a week. So we're considering driving down on Memorial Day(in order to miss the crowds that weekend) and staying for a little over a week. I know it will be HOT that week, but I'm really hoping the crowds won't be as bad as I'm afraid they'll be.

You are right, the weekend will be the busiest with some clearing out on Monday. It will be busy, not as busy as the week of Easter, but probably a little busier than what you are used to. No problem, just plan for it and you'll be fine.

we were the memorial day weekend this year and it wasn't so bad. if you buy tourguide mike's on line guide you're sure to have a great time w/ minimal lines...we never waited over like 15 minutes for rides we couldn't fastpass.
