The Gold pass is not exclusive to DVC. The gold pass does have four weeks of blackout dates: two weeks around Easter and Christmas.

Yes, that is correct - Gold pass is available to DVC members or Florida residents only.

I was told no by my DVC guide. But they've been known to spread falsities.

Just call and try to purchase it over the phone. The worst they can say is No.
