That's amazing! I didn't realise at first that's going to be your cake topper and now I'm even more impressed! I think you'll get so many compliments on that, it's so much more than a throwaway item - it can really come to be a symbol of the day and yours will be so memorable for yourselves and your guests. I think it's coming along great and can't wait to see the design become reality. I've got so much catching up to do with your website and all, so exciting to say you're under 10 months to go! You'll have to start paying close attention to all those deadlines sooner than it seems and then time will almost be going too fast but everything is coming along so well!

Nope we're not quite settled on a cake topper yet! If it's Disney related it'll likely be either Up or Wall-E and if not it could be something as far out as a couple of Dinosaurs that Jess keeps showing me, wearing a top hat and veil and roaring. I think we're trying to choose the cake and the let the cake inform what the topper will look like. And yep, the time will really be running down by then! It's a 9 month wait but there's so many little milestones in between that it's really a series of short intervals and so many other things to look forward to and enjoy in between. By the end of the holidays you might be wanting time to slow down a little!

I love UP that would be such a cute topper but if not Disney the dinosaurs sound like a lot of fun but I agree letting your cake choose the topper with a cruise wedding we don't really have many options all plain white so I knew I needed a big type of topper and I am so torn I want time to slow down to get more done but to speed up to take a cruise

Thank you! the beauty and the beast photos were so much fun to take something to occupy time at that point we really couldn't do much except pictures so throwing my self into that project was awesome glad your following along a lot more coming up

9 MONTHS TO GO!!! and then me an Andre will be getting married so excited that time is moving so quickly now!!

So Holly was just great to work with! I had a very complicated custom order and she was very professional and so helpful the whole way through! I was able to get everything I envisioned which for a bride is priceless! The overall price was very reasonable in my opinion for what I was getting and how much I was saving overall for the complete project ! I would definitely recommend her to any other brides looking for something like this, she also does etching on glass, just look her up on Etsy!

I am planning on handing out empty gift bags at a "make your own mini bar" table while people are waiting to board our bus to the port. I wanted to include some sort of glassware and these are perfect! I just bought the Starbucks version for $8.99 this morning to use in the cup holder on my bike. I am off to dollar tree tomorrow.

I am only buying about a half dozen of each item so people can just take what they need. Speaking of which, I always need safety pins. I may put out a jar of those...

I made one but I think I may have to send art to Holly (or equivalent) because the colors from the laser printer aren't as saturated as I would like. I bought some color ones but now realize I will be exchanging them for clear ones. Posting my prototype to my PJ in a minute here.

I am probably blocking rooms at the Hyatt at the Orlando Airport for the night before the cruise and they have agreed to set up a couple of banquet tables in the lobby for my guests to pick up their goodies.
