Day 3 MGM?
Okay so we weren't so commando getting up this morning. We all got up about the same time except dH. I think he could sleep through anything. We are up and about ready to go and Megan starts having some trouble breathing. So before we left we nebulize her and she seems better. Remember the weather report from yesterday? Not much has changed except that the sun is now our with the 98% humidity and high heat. So we are off to MGM. We had not done as much in this park last year as we would have like because we had tickets to MNSSHP. So I was looking forward to spending a long day there.
We had checked the map last night and had a game plan. Go in and go to the left (again) and hope to see the first showing of Indiana Jones. The best laid plans... We ended up heading for the Great movie Ride hoping that Megan would finish a nap and be ready to tackle the rest of the day. People ahd reported that the show had changed but we didn't see any changes from last year. We get off the ride and then for some reason head over to Voyage of the little Mermaid. we had not done this before and were looking forward to it. We made it right on in. For some reason Megan got upset and DH had to take her out of the show so as not to disturb others and then had a thread about us on the DIS. We meet back up afterward and make the decision to head back home. we did get to see the GReen ARmy men perform on the way out. I was getting a little depressed now because I had so carefully planned this trip and things were not working out the way I had planned and I didn't think anyone was having fun.
We go back for the rest of the day. The thick humidity had really done a number on Megan. For those of you with breathing problems you know the problems that you have when the air is so thick. we had to nebulize her several times on Monday because she was really having a hard time. We get her settled and I think we all took an afternoon nap.
DH and I ventured out to DTD that evening. I had this in our plans for tomorrow but not knowing what our plans would be we took advantage of the opportunity. When we arrived it wasn't too crowded but by dark it was really picking up. We dropped a small fortune at the World of Disney but I guess everyone does. There were shirts, pins, frames etc that all had our name on them. We also picked up some Mickey cookies for Megan to take back to school and share with her classmates. I also made it down to the Art of Disney store to buy the castle cross stich picture. I am looking forward to making that my winter project. Bring on the snow.
We were going to try and eat at Fulton's Crab House but the wait was an hour and a half at 8:00 so we opted to leave. Didn't want crabs for breakfast. We ended up eatting at cracker Barrel one of our favorites. Love that hash brown casserole. we made it home and shared all of our finds and then turned in for the evening hoping tomorrow would be a better day.
