Meeting Mickey at MGM

Hi everyone! Back in 2005 my family got a cute picture with Sorcerer Mickey in the Animation Studios at MGM. Is he still there for pictures? My aunt and little cousin are coming with us for the first time and I want to get a picture of all of us with Mickey, and I remember there hardly being a line. Any info is appreciated, thank you!

Yep, we had our pics with him last September Mr. and Mrs. Incredible and Frozone were also there and they had the Wall-E cutout and backdrop (though Wall-E himself never materialized ) The Wall-E area was then used for Bolt characters and I hear will soon be turned into a meet and greet for UP.

He was there last week. I think he was actually listed on the park schedule so I would expect he is there everyday. When were were there the line was not short, but it was still much shorter than the Mickey lines in the other parks.

I'm so mad that I didn't even realize that Sorcerer Mickey was over in HS. I mean I knew he was there, just didn't know that it was everyday. I will definitely have to remember it when we return in September.

We got our picture there yesterday!!! Mickey was thrilled to meet our DS too. I mean, Joel was thrilled to meet Mickey!

back in 2005, he actually would have been in soundstage 1 which is currently undergoing some work. he's in the animation building now on the lower level. (and he was actually away for a while in-between)

Everytime my family and I have been to Hollywood Studios the past few years Sorcerer Mickey was at the Animation building and I believe he is there from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM. I am not 100% sure if the closing time is correct, however I do remember the opening time being at 10:00 AM.

he actually came back to his new location in early 2008 if I'm not mistaken. before that, he was MIA since SWW 2007. they used soundstage 1 for the SWW store, put him in his jedi gear in sounds dangerous and that was it, they closed off that whole area to develop pixar place.. no more sorcerer mickey until the new setup in 2008. so he was actually gone for almost a year.

it was a difficult time for me.

No 10 minutes between appearances.

We were told "Mickey has to go in to check his messages
and will be right back."

He was!.... his message light must not have been flashing!!
