Meet the Fockers! We're watching you...

Well, sometimes you gotta look on the bright side of being free and single!:rotfl2:

Please tell me you don't use your strategy at Wal Mart. Our Wal Mart has less than desirable looking fellas.

Hmm.....had to go back and look at the pics of us standing together. Yes, you WERE having a better hair day so that gave you an edge! That Florida humidity kept mine plastered all week--they should know Southern women don't like flat hair! Or is Florida a Southern state??
Wow, MizDiz is taller than both of us, even with the hair!

I was going to comment that I am 5'5" and seem to be considered a tall person on this thread. Definitely taller that S'Late and TEMinnie! When my DH and I got our new Driver's License a few years ago, he had 5'11" on his (He is 5'9 1/2" according to him), the lady looked at him and said, "Come on now." When she asked if I needed to change anything on my DL, I looked at her and said, "Well, I have gained some weight." She looked at me and said, "We'll keep it the same!" I loved that lady!

Your arm does NOT look huge, and loooky how adorable you and your kidlets are! Sure hope we get to meet... NEXT WEEK!!!!!! :cool1:

Is this a self-portrait? You did such a good job! Another lovely DISer!

Boysmom, I agree with V your arms DON"T look huge. I wish my arms looked as good as yours. :)

Not a self portrait, one of my friends snapped the pic.

OK - Tall women unite against "shorties" with TALL husbands! Hello? Can I get some help over here? How are you all finding these tall men, and I'm looking down at them?!!

I know how you feel Glendamax! ::yes:: I'm 5'6" but tend to look down at guys too. I'm waiting for my tall prince to come too.

Well, here's the thing. The key to this is to spot a good-looking one. Now, it may take a while to find, but that's okay. Patience is key. So no matter what row you're on, find something on that top shelf that you want and ask this good-looking guy. You don't have to buy it, UNLESS you hit it off all the way to the check-out, so make it a small purchase.

These are tips to live by, ladies!

I officially kicked Florida out of the South because of their views on sweet tea.

:lmao: My sister (a native floridian) who now lives in Cary NC would agree. She said she is never moving back because she can't just order a tea she has to specify that she wants it sweet.

Yeah, what's the deal with that? My first culture shock is when I was about 10 and my parents took us to NYC. We stopped at a restaurant on the way and I asked for tea. I was shocked to get unsweetened tea. I think we may have had to specify iced tea, too.

UGH, total opposite here. :scared: I grew up in Western NY - I need my tea strong and unsweetened, please!

On a funny note:
My nephew decided to go work for his uncle (not on my side of the family) who owns a construction company. His uncle told him he had to start from the bottom up. So his first job was being the person who holds the sign to stop traffic. He told me this really hot chick came by one day and smiled and seemed to be checking him out. Then she started coming by frequently and would say a few words. Then they talked about meeting one night at a club. He decided not to show because he said what kind of a girl wants to date a construction worker who is the sign holder!

I am completely addicted to Red Diamond Sweet Tea. They sell it by the gallon and I can drink it in a weekend!!! Ohhhhh, yessss......

And...guess who else she got addicted to the stuff...;)

You don't drink tea?
Do you drink Woodpeckers?
Gutter chicks - get your mind out of the gutter.
See this is where the whole language thing comes in because I haven't got a clue why that is funny :confused3 :rotfl2: Is Woodpeckers cider?

I knew we could smarten her up! Where is Cary does she live? We are about 15 minutes from Cary.

Let it to the shorties, GMax, we'll find you a man! Is "tall" your only requirement, or does he need to speak English, too? Not that I have any tall non English speaking guys in reserve; I just wanted to be sure I know what to look for.

:rotfl2:

I'm 5ft 6 well I was before kids I'm sure I'm shrinking now :confused3

A few more kids and you're in!

I wonder if sweet tea is the reason the northerners keep coming here?

What good is tea without sugar??? :confused3

Exactly! There's sweet tea and "hey, someone forgot to put sugar in this one!" :rotfl:

What good is anything without sugar, or at least Splenda?

Amen, sista!

I don't know what that is, but I soooo want some!
