In my most recent trip (3/20 to 3/25) it was NOT enforced. However there were some of us still wearing them. But of my 6 Mears drivers 4 were masked while 2 were not

On March 6 and on March 11 the Mears bus driver never wore a mask. As several masked passengers boarded the bus, they noticed this and then removed their masks as well. I had been expecting mandatory masks since it was a bus, but I was both surprised and disappointed.

Thanks for letting me know. I’m not surprised. No where else in Florida are masks needed except transportation for Disney. And Disney doesn’t own Mears. So I this makes sense. If you can be maskless in a packed airport then the bus seems like it would be more flexible as well.

Masks are still required in all airports and public transportation in the U.S.

It got extended to 4/18. However, 20 states are suing to end it and the CEO’s of the largest airlines have requested in a letter, to have it end.

did not receive the email last weekend, but did get the boarding passes via texts.

Disney has stopped requiring masks on the Skyliner but they are still under the federal mandate for buses and monorails. Public transportation in Florida (taxis, buses Uber, etc) also require masks at this time. Enforcement is another issue

It’s too variable to know for sure.

A friend reserved Mears with her package. She's asking me where on MDE can she see the Mears confirm. Does anyone know?

I thought those packages no longer exist. Disney has stopped offering transport (other than the return of minnie vans) and if your friends reserved through Mears (as I have done a few times now) that info does not appear in the app. You get email confirmations

She booked a few months ago, so I think it was still an option then with a package. I told her to try the chat feature to confirm it was added. I remember there was a place where you could see ME confirm on MDE and I didn't know if they put a confirm # for the new Mears.

The Mears transfers that could be booked with packages until recently are private transfers, not Mears Connect.
There should be a separate confirmation email, as suggested above.

Well, that would be awful if they got to the airport and didn't have the ride they thought they booked. I told her to try the Chat feature before calling.

They cancelled some of them, not all.

Has anyone booked Mears Connect during a busy holiday? We are planning on taking the Mears Connect in December around Christmas time. I know MCO is swamped during this time and I’m worried they won’t give us enough time to get through security and to our flight on departure day.Can we request pick up 4 hours ahead of time instead of the 3 hours they usually decide?
Anyone have experience with this during a busy holiday?
