Meal leftovers

I agree about the in room cooler. Its just that...a cooler not a refrigerator. You could waste your vacation being sick trying to not waste food.
We had real fridges on the newer ships. In fact, milk froze in one on the Dream. I don't remember if we had a real fridge on the Wonder--I don't recall if they had finished replacing the cooler boxes with fridges by then. But if you are storing food, it's definitely a good idea to check that yours is working before you rely on it!

I was on a cruise with a woman who said she wanted to heat up some water for coffee but couldn't get the in-room microwave to work, no matter how many buttons she pushed. A friend told her the "microwave" was really the in-room safe.
That's a cute story; however, I don't believe it to be true.

I've read various forms that that story in many places.

It reminds me of the every cruise story told by the CDs of the grandparents bringing 20+ family members on that cruise. Probably it happened once, but not every cruise, but it still makes a great story.

I don't remember ever having leftovers, portions do seem smaller and the food is so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
