So our little trip started out quiet enough we ( my best friend and I drove to Tahoe ( 2 hours and 40 minutes). When we got there we went to the beach for a few hours and then checked into our hotel. After that we went to the pool and then got ready to go see the Sugar Ray concert. Got there early.. got a spot in the front row and were enjoyed half of the show when I started to feel like I couldn't sing anymore... like I was out of breath! Then I started to get really hot and I felt a little nauseous so I leaned forward onto the barrier which was chest high to get some of the cooler air that surrounded the stage and thats all I remember after that point for aout a minute! My best friend said I leaned over like I was going to tell her something but instead I just hit her head into mine. This probably would be a normal silly thing for me to do sho she didn't think anything of it.... the I leaned back into the barrier with my head down. She had asked me something and I didn't answer so she lifted my head up and my eyes were rolled back into my head. SHe called the secutiry guard who grabbed me and him and another security guard started dragging me out. At which point I woke up for about 1 second enough to see a cleared crowd then I passed out again until about 5 seconds later when we reached the stairs and my shoe came off! I think what snapped me out of it was my best friend telling them to call an ambulance NOW! They took me to the service hall where there were stairs and I was fine! Very scary though! I've never fainted before although I do get really ill when I get too hot and I am guessing this was one of those cases. Anyways they brough me some orange juice and a cold towel and I was A-OK a little shaky but ok. My poor best friend I scared the heck out of her! So we are sitting back there and one of Sugar Ray's roadies happens to be walking by and asked what happened. We told him and he asked if we would liket o sit to watch th rest of the show. So we were Ok with that but we wanted to be able to see really well..... Well we got our wish!!! He took us backstage into the wings of the stage to watch the rest of the concert! It was so cool. We were back there witht he opening act Dropline and some of Sugar Ray's wives/girlfriends. It was very cool!
So the lesson is.... if you are going to faint at a concert make sure you do it at the right time
LOL
