ME yellow tags??? Please help me I am making myself nuts!

Ok I got the package today from ME. They told me over the weekend it was too late to send my DD package. I called Disney the same day to give them our flight info for ME but they only had my one room ressie and not the other one. ugh
I have been assure this is no big deal,
Anyway, the package I got today has tags for myself, DH, and DS.
It appears that there are 2 tags for each of us.
I am not sure how they go on though.
Is it one piece of luggage for each of us or did they give us 2 each just in case?
If they did give us 2 each could I just use the extra for my DD luggage if needed or will the airline try to charge me saying we have more then one checked bag?
If any one has a picture of how they should look once on luggage that would be helpfull too. I know I am totally over thinking this whole thing but that is what I do when I am nervous and I am.................Xanex anyone? lol

You probably only have 1 tag per person. Each tag is 2 inches wide and 16 inches long.

Don't tear them down the center, some people make this mistake. You only received 3 but your daughter can still use ME and the luggage service, all your daughter needs is a reservation and you will have to stop at the DME desk at MCO and give them your daughters baggage claim ticket it is very easy. Don't Worry

Yes, it's a new policy. Using various indirect methods such as counting bags delivered to rooms, Disney determined that a lot of waste paper resulted from routinely sending two tags per person, thus they cut back to one per person.

Is it possible to request the tags well in advance? We already have our ME arrangements for January. Can I call and request extra tags NOW? Or will I have to wait till ME comes in the mail and then request the extras? We have a large family group going, going on SWA with free baggage, so we know we will have more than 1 bag per person.

I'm wondering...in a pinch, if you could cut those suckers in half! Just an idea! Maybe you should call and ask ME what to do. I understand your pain...in September when we went I was surprised to open the package and only find 1 per person...good thing we didn't need more for that trip.

I would try going to a place like Kinko's and making a color photocopy. Tape or glue this to a piece of cardboard or manila folder material.

I might have suggested scanning and printing it at home but unless your color printer was laser, the ink will smear if it got and stayed wet for any length of time.

If you cut it in half then you will find it hard to get it to stay on your bag.
