So this will be our first time using ME for transport. I am curious if there is a way to make this work in our favor….We have a room booked at BWV and my sister is staying at GF. She will be in Disney before we arrive. There are 5 of us, but the room only holds 4, so one of the kids are staying with my sister at GF. Now here is where the problem comes in, when we arrive in Orlando my sister will not be in Disney that day (but will already be checked in her room from the day prior), as they are traveling to Coca Beach. Is there any way to get approval for our child, who will be booked under the GF reservation, on the bus to BWV with us and possibly her luggage too? We do not want her to have to travel alone on a bus to GF, especially if no one will be there to get her.

Thanks!

You can ask when you get to the DME area. If they say no, and they might, have an adult female take dd's place on the bus to the GF. Dd would take the adults place to BWV. But, in all reality, DME will probably allow her to go with you. Just explain that there won't be an adult there to meet her at GF.

Her luggage will go to the room in which she/he is listed as an occupant. Or you can not put the yellow tags on the childs bag and just collect them at the airport and put them on your DME bus.

I would try to get an answer prior to my arrival, I always want to minimize delays. As far as luggage, just call DME and order extra tags for YOUR reservation, if you want her bag to be at your resort.

Thanks everyone! I will give ME a call ahead and see what they have to say and worse case we will deal with it again when we arrive at MCO if need be. I will also be sure to avoid putting tags on her bag, that don't correspond with our hotel.

You may actually want to have the bags delivered to the hotel she is sleeping at. Disney does not allow luggage on their non-DME general transportation- if you have the bags delivered to the "wrong" hotel, getting them to the "right" hotel later could be a pain.
