ME luggage stickers

Just found out that they only send you 1 luggage stickers for checked luggage per person on your reservation through ME. So I called and spoke to a great CM and she contacted ME and they are going to send 2 extra. We are flying Southwest and I'd rather have the availability of the extra checked piece for the return trip.

because so many airlines charge for checked bags and people are cutting back because of it, DME started sending only 1 tag per person. But they will, and have always, mail more tags upon request. Additionally, you can just give your airline luggage claim stubs to DME at the airport & they'll collect those bags even without yellow tags.

Yes, ME will always send you more if you call and request them.

I'm not sure, but all you have to do is call ME and ask. They would probably appreciate the heads up.

They should send them all together if you request the extra tags when you make your DME reservation.

Someone in our party is flying SW and also wanted a second set of ME tags. We called to have the second set noted thinking they would send them in the ME package you normally get 30 - 45 days out. They sent them immediately. Within days we had the second set. That was way over a month ago. I was surprised and I don't know if this is the norm. Now we just need to get the full ME package. I hope this wasn't a mistake and it is not going to screw up the next mailing from ME.
