ME/Luggage question

is there anyway you can get your own luggage off tahe carasol and still take ME? im not thrilled with the idea that we may not see our luggage for a while after the drop off.

why? it was awesome!!!! I just used it. I loved not haveing to deal with my heavy suitcase

If you do not put the tags on your luggage at your originating airport, you can claim your bags and bring them to the ME checkin desk.

If you put your tags on the bags, they will be pulled behind the scene and placed on the baggage truck.

But, isn't that the whole point of DME? I, for one, am really looking forward to handing my bags to the check-in person in Boston and not having to worry about them until I get to my room!! Even if it takes a few hours for them to show up...doesn't matter. I'll have my bathing suit in my carry-on bag.

I don't think there is too much concern about your stuff getting lost. Especially if you have the special tags on them. I just can't be bothered going to grab my stuff and then lug them back to the bus. If Disney loses 'em, then they'll be buying me new clothes. Everything really important goes on the plane with me. Only replaceable stuff gets checked!!

thanks! how long did it take you to get your luggage afterwards? that is my biggest concern b/c we dont planon going to a park until that night. we are landing at 9:42a.m. and plan on spending the day at the pool.

I have the same concern!!!!
We arrive at 9:15pm........and have PS for the next morning at 8:05!
I am starting to worry we won't have our luggage by 6am in order to get dressed for the parks!

I have seen everyone's advise about taking a carry on, bla bla....
but we need our luggage before the morning!
