ME from ASM to MCO - how long before flight?

I have a rental car and I'll be traveling with my DS, who is returning to college directly from WDW. My flight leaves fairly early in the am but his isn't until 2 pm. I was wondering how much time ME leaves to get you to MCO. He doesn't know whether to come early with me or spend some time in a park and take ME. TIA

It will leave your resort 3 hours before the flight +/- 15 minutes. He will be assigned a time, and must be at the bus stop, ready to board 15 minutes before the boarding time.

So his pickup time will be between 1045-1115.

The other option, if he is listed as a driver on the rental car , is to leave the car with him and you take ME. This would allow him more park time, especially if he is doing online check in and carry on only.
