I am taking my 86-year-old mom to WDW in less than a week! She will be traveling by herself to MCO :scared1: and DH and I will meet up with her there, pick up a rental car and head for AKL. In case my flight is delayed or canceled and I cannot get to MCO for several hours after mom's flight arrives, I signed her up for ME as a fallback plan. I figured it would be a lot more comfortable for her to wait for us in her room at AKL than to spend hours waiting for us at the airport.

I signed her up too late to get any of the official info from ME so my concern at the moment is providing her with some directions on how to find the ME check-in desk at MCO. So here are my questions:

1. Some time ago I read something about the ME check-in area moving to the "B" side of MCO. Has that happened yet, or is it still on the "A" side?

2. I know the check-in area is somewhere on the ground level, but where? Can someone tell me the easiest way to find it, particularly for someone who has never been to MCO before and is not a very experienced traveler?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

I'm going in two weeks, so I figure my info is current...it says Side A. Also, these are the instructions...

Upon disembarking the airport tram in the main terminal, you will be on Level 3. Please proceed to the Disney Welcome Center located on the A side on Level 1 (Ground Transportation). If you arrive on the B side, please proceed to the A side before going down to Level 1.

Hope this helps. Have a terrific time!!
