MDE glitch? Everything missing (fp, adrs, resort reservation) Sept 11+

Just called again and now the wait time is over 90 minutes. Remember most of the people who are calling now have already waited for a significant time already. No excuse. Disgraceful behavior.

They screwed it up. Not us. They need to fix the problems that Disney, itself caused. We did nothing wrong so why on earth should we be penalized. The real nightmare is they planned an entire theme park experience around an app that has frequent glitches and refuse to man up and pay for extra personnel that would cut the phone wait times down. It’s been over an hour each time I’ve called over the last three days. Before all the Disney apologists yell at me, remember they’ve had our money for months. Months. They tell us to make fast passes and we do and when they go because of their own screw up they say we’ll we can’t fix this. But YOU did it. My husband gave me $6k and said plan a vacation. The only ride he wants is test track. It went missing yesterday and they said there’s nothing I can do about it. Again...YOU DID IT. Fix it. Just fix it. But I’m selfish for wanting what was mine. The degree to which Disney holds its customers in contempt is shocking to me. They should be proactive, figuring what to do and how to fix it. Just letting people wait in a phone for over an hour shows you they don’t care. Just shocking. If there were enough people we wouldn’t have to wait this long. But I guess some people will always have Disney’s back so they know that and do nothing.

I wasn't referring to people who lost existing passes. That's definitely something they should fix. I'm talking about people who can't book passes day one of the 60 day window and want to ask for the world in return.

There's always a chance it will show back up, but if not, I'd talk to someone when you get there. How close are you to your trip? Also, Test Track has a single rider line too that's much shorter than standby. Worst case you can try that. I'm sorry for your troubles but the alternative is no FP or old school FPs which would mean you wouldn't be able to do as much. Not an apologist, just realistic.

There's probably 100x more people calling than there are to answer and most of them are venting all their frustrations at length. If WDW employed enough people to handle each one in times like this, tickets would cost even more. Again, not being an apologist because it's definitely frustrating, but it seems when it comes to Disney everyone thinks things should be perfect and logic flies out the window. It's okay to be mad but "disgraceful behavior" is a bit much.

Does anyone have people showing up on their account they don't know?

A week ago a family of 4 and their reservations showed on my account. They had permissions to see ALL my plans. I called DVC member services and they had an IT person remove them from my account. They are now back, as well as one where my DH had been duplicated that Disney IT had removed 6 months ago. I also have reservation issues, one that had been replaced by a wait list that came through (DVC) is now back so it looks like I have 2 stays for the same time.

I am sure it will get corrected, but I am concerned if I have people I don't know on my account that can see my plans.... Am I showing up on someone else's account and they can see my plans and information?

I think Disney needs to be held to a higher standard when it comes to their IT issues though. It is seriously bad and unacceptable. There's no reason a company that big should have site and app issues like they have. People may be going overboard but this is a expensive vacation with high demand for reservations, both dining and FP. On top of that people wait by their computer/phone for these reservations to open so they can have a chance at getting what they want. I can't see how Disney stays quiet about this for much longer. Surely something will come out in an email to the folks affected.

IT issues happen but the terrible thing about Disney's IT issues is that they always go on for days on end with no absolutely no communication about when service might be fully restored.

Mine keeps coming and going. The only constant is that my park tickets and MNSSHP tickets are missing, always. Sometimes I have fps for 1 person, then 3 people, then all 6. I keep deleting the app, and reinstalling, sign in, then out, then back in. This sees to help, except no tickets. I also have reservations showing up that I know I have canceled, but I have confirmation numbers for everything; hotel reservations, park tickets, MNSSHP, ADRs, ADR cancellations, EMM, everything, plus, when most everything shows up, screen shots. Each member of my party have varying reservations showing up, and I'm really afraid to try to touch anything for fear of my fps disappearing because I have no tickets. I have long been disappointed in a system which requires so much pre-planning, as I have always liked to wing it. Based on the lack of ADRs (still need 3 and have never seen them pop up), reservations are a must. I just redid my magic bands and hopefully that will stick. I have 18 days left to personalize, so I guess I will check them daily; this just adds so much more work and stress. I have not called as I know I will spend over an hour, maybe 2 pn the phone with no positive results. I'm hoping this will be fixed soon, and I feel for the people who waited until their 60 day mark only to find out they can't get in.

Yes if there’s 100X people calling then there are to answer. Well that’s a problem. Man up and employ enough people so it doesn’t turn into a disaster. They chose to let their customers be aggravated for days. A Disney vacation is not a cheap vacation. They have remained silent when they could be proactive. It’s disgraceful behavior and shows how little they value their customers.

Lol. I just spoke with someone in a chat. He straight up said that it doesn't affect anything just because it doesn't show up.

Riiiigggghhhttt.

I wouldn't even try to call Disney's internet help desk unless you are at a time critical point. Sounds like the system is totally &*()#&% right now.

My MDX on my computer is showing a resort reservation that was cancelled two weeks ago; it's gone from the app.

When I called today and waited over an hour to talk to an agent she was able to see all of my tickets even though I couldn’t. She went ahead and booked my fast passes for me since my 60 day window started yesterday. THe only FPni couldn’t get was the most coveted, Flight of Passage. So congrats to all you lucky people who scored that one.

Wow! Now that is a new one. Haven’t seen that yet. I think most of us have people missing instead. Gotta love Disney.

One of my four tickets came back this morning, still missing three, and still unable to make FastPasses, now 48 hours after the window began. How could the chat CM above say missing tickets won’t affect anything?!

Good news though, my MK one-day tickets with 0 admissions left from 2014 have all shown up now. :badpc:

Curious about this as well! Just checked MDE on my laptop, resort reservations are linked, ADRs are there,
FP are there, BUT it says you have no tickets linked? HUH? Wouldn't I have to have a linked ticket to make any FP, in my case 60 days in advance in others 30 days?:eek:

I have to believe that IT should get this "MAJOR WEBSITE DEBACLE":scared1: fixed ASAP!

Update from yesterday]Everything was there yesterday EXCEPT tickets..this morning, my ticket there, DH missing...UUGH! :(Thank goodness, I have a confirmation number from DVC....Really thought by this morning, it would be ok..:scratchin:scared1:.

All of my stuff is back on the app. But this happened yesterday and Tuesday and then they disappeared again. I hope this time they stay for good. I haven’t checked the website yet.

I hope those who couldn’t make FP can make them today!

No, the alternative is Disney do something about this absolutely horrid website. It has issues constantly and with the prices they charge and the money they have, there is simply no excuse for not having a state of the art, well functioning website. They made FP+ their crown jewel- they need to provide their guests with a reliable way to make use of it.

I don't know how familiar you are with booking fp's on a 60 day window- but people pay a fortune to stay on site to be able to get that perk. Even if you book on day 1, it's very difficult to get FOP or Slink Dog. These book up 2-3 days past the 60 day window regularly. Booking after that first day guarantees you are not going to get those. People have a right to be upset and unless Disney can get them those FP's, they are owed significant compensation.

It's not rocket science to build a good website.....this coming from someone who normally defends Disney at every turn. But there is no defending this one.

Mobile App, everything is proper now, desktop still the same.

Well it’s doing something, I now can go into the park but my DH is still missing his party ticket and park ticket. Still have everything else listed. It’s gettig there slowly but it’s frustrating since we go next week.
