MDE for Android Tablets

I have a Samsung Pro Tab 12.2 and keep getting a message that MDE is not compatible with this device. Can that really be true? It works on my android Samsung phone and the tablet is really just a big mirror of that. I've gone through the settings to no avail. I so wanted to just bring the tablet with me for our next trip vs. a laptop (and yes I know I can use the phone but having the bigger screen in the evening is nice). Anyone else experience this or have news for when android tablets will be supported? Thanks...

I have a Samsung Tab S and it's not compatible with MDE either. I've always just used my phone in the past when I'm in Disney or my laptop at home.

I don't travel with my laptop - only the tablet and phone so I guess I'll have to continue using my phone for MDE when in Disney.

I extracted the apk file from my phone (Galaxy Note 3) and installed it on my Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and it works great (finds my reservations better than my phone does, which often glitches out). Here's the link to the file, download it onto your tablet and make sure "Unknown sources" is checked in the Security settings and you're good to go!

Many developers treat tablets as a totally different form factor, requiring a totally different UI, and thus deliberately disable the phone version from running on tablets or vice versa.

For example, The Weather Channel app is totally different between iPhone, iPad, and desktop, so they have three different UIs.

Just go to Disneyworld.com. It defaults to mobile view. Sign into MDE from there.
