MDE, Fastpass+?

We are going to WDW at the end of February 2015, My Disney Experience says we leave in 63 days. We are doing a split stay between two Disney resorts. I've been playing around on MDE making fastpasses, but I can only make them for 30 days out. I thought staying on site let us make them 60 days in advance, will this change automatically on MDE at the 60 day mark? Also the day I can start making fastpasses, does that start at midnight?

It changes when you hit your 60 day marker.

I haven't kept up on the time but I believe I've seen people not able to book FP until 1am pretty consistently.

On your 60 day it does magically appear.

Generally, you're able to start booking at midnight. But there's a quirk : I've seen posts here that it seems like if the MK has late operating hours on your booking day (regular non-EMH hours of 1am or later) then your FP+ booking doesn't open til 1am

Thank you both for your quick answers. Our first visit since fastpass+ and I want don't want to miss anything. I have a feeling we're not going to like it as much as the old paper fastpasses, but I want to give it a fair try.

Not so much "consistently" at 1AM.

Much more like "occasionally" at 1AM.

Yes, this. (But, HOW and WHY this is so defies logic!)



Also, we need to be very clear when discussing "time" that we are discussing are "Eastern Timezone" times.

If you are in a different timezone, you need to account for that.
As in: 12 Midnight Eastern time, equals
11PM Central time,
10PM Mountain time,
9PM Pacific time, etc.
