We used to take back roads from the airport to Rt 192 and then followed it into WDW. I had gotten the directions from a DIS post. I know we took Boggy Creek Road part of the way. It was a very nice scenic ride and no tolls! Last trip there had been so much new construction that I couldn't find my way around...and got lost several times and need to ask directions. On the way back to MCO we took the expressway because we couldn't afford to be late if we got lost again. Does anyone have directions from MCO to WDW via Boggy Creek Rd?

Boggy Creek is the road you take out of the airport (S) to go to the toll road.

Boggy Creek to the Greeneway is a great way to get to WDW. There are $2 worth of tolls but well worth it.

I do not want to get to the Florida Greeneway (Rt 417). I know that Boggy Creek Rd is the south access road out of the airport, (Rt 527A). I'm pretty sure Boggy Creek Rd. becomes Rt 530 after you pass Rt 417. It splits off in two directions (E + W) and I also know I need to head W. But, I need directions from there on how to get to Rt 192 in Kissimmee. There are no tolls going this way. I have an old map, but it's not detailed enough to be of any help.

Just wanted to let you know that I found the answer to my question. In another thread someone had posted a link this mapping site. http://maps.msn.com
I asked for a map of Orlando International Airport and then just scrolled thru the compass points until it showed the street map of the area I needed. The map was very detailed and showed me exactly the way to go. Wow, it's much better than mapquest.com. This site is very easy to navigate and the maps and directions are wonderful. If you ever need directions for anywhere, try this website!

So NC which route did you decide. Are you taking Boggy Creek to Boggy Creek to Boggy Creek to 192 west or Boggy Creek to Osceola Pkwy (west) to John Young (south) to 192 west. Either will get you to WDW without tolls.

If I had seen this earlier I would have posted before you found the way yourself.

We will probably take Boggy Creek with all the turns, to 192W. If I follow Rt 530, will that take me right onto 192?

When you get to 192 to start heading west towards I-4 and (next exit) WDW Main Gate, you will hit lots of red lights.

You will reach Osceola before 192 and Osceola will be quicker. Maps mention it is a toll road, exactly where the toll booth is I don't know.

The Toll booth on Osceola Parkway is after John Young so that would not allow NC to avoid tolls to the park if she took this unless the turned Right (south) on John Young and took it to 192 or took Dyer Blvd to Hoagland to 192. This would cut down on some of the traffic lights and might be a better way of going depending on what time of day it is. The Boggy Creek way wouldn't be too bad if it is night but 192 during the day is a pain!

If NC took Boggy Creek to Osceola Parkway (west) to Dyer (south, meaning left), to Hoagland Blvd. (west, take right) to 192 west (right) they would come out not to far from the Wal-Mart that is on 192.
