Hi all! I am looking for the most cost effective way to get my husband and I from MCO to Port Canaveral. I only need one way as we will be spending time in Orlando after our cruise.

Has anyone done a one-way rental car for this recently? If so, what is the average cost? Or would it be better to do a shuttle/town car?

Any help is greatly appreciated! We've only ever used ME in the past, so this is all new! :goodvibes

Most cost effective way is probably a rental car. You can get it for about $50 one way. You can look for discount codes, etc. (www.mousesavers.com is a good source of car rental codes). Car service will run you just a bit over $100 one way. DCL bus service will run you about $70 one way for two. There are advantages and disadvantages to each.

I think last time we used Budget..picked up at the airport and dropped off in Port Canaveral. We paid $46.

You can do one way rentals between MCO and the port. I know Avis and Budget have offices near the cruise...Avis location is P3F and Budget is CC5. Check it out...
