MCO to POP....Best Grocery Stop?

Hi there...looking for Grocery Stop suggestions on the route from MCO to POP (or just off the route).....have reserved a fridge and looking to pick up water, snacks some breakfast foods, etc....thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Use this link from AllEarsNet.com (Deb's Unofficial Walt Disney World Information Guide). When you submit your query, it will give you the directions to your resort plus directions to a convenient grocery stop along the way. Very helpful!

If you take 417 (which is what I recommend for Pop):

Take 417 to the Osceola Parkway (not 535). Make a right onto Osceola Parkway, heading towards Disney.

You'll see the Gaylord Palms at a major intersection. Make a LEFT, and head down that road. (If you were to go straight, you'd get to Disney) About half a mile down, just under the bridge, there will be a Publix on the left.

To get back to Pop, head back to the Gaylord Palms, and make a LEFT back onto Osceola Parkway. You'll see Pop on the right as you pass under the arches. Just make a right at the lights, and another right at the next lights to get into Pop.

I read a message here on the boards recently from someone that requested a fridge on their reservation sometime before arriving, but at check-in were told that none were currently available. Their stay was for less than a week, but I recall that they said they never received a fridge. Don't know if they kept asking or not. This was the first time I had heard a report like this. Just an FYI!

EDIT NOTE: I don't recall at which resort this situation occurred. Also, I corrected spelling error.

Although this is certainly possible, I have never heard of a situation where Pop has run out of refridgerators. In this unlikely event though, we do have refridgerators at Luggage Assistance that can store stuff until we can locate one to get for the guest.
