McDonalds is disgusting

Some if it's not bad. Wendy's for example actually cooks their stuff when you order it. Again, not gourmet, but at least it's fresh. Not sure what BK does.

McDonald's has been really gross for a while. Remember when they served McNuggetts in the styrophoam conatiners? They were golden brown, warm and tasty. Now, they're light brown, wrinkly, cold and rubbery.

Freshness is not an issue with me, it's what the food is made up of.

Why did you eat there if it was so nasty? I'm just wondering not trying to start something. I have walked into several places and turned around and walked out seeing it was nasty.

Both of the McDonalds in my city are VERY well kept. Actually, one was just bull dozed and rebuilt because it was so old. Now, it has an indoor playplace (no ball pit ) and free WIFI. The food tastes a bit different since they went to the different type of oil...but it is still ok to me.

About once every year, I experience a weird craving for McDonald's-- usually during a road trip.

So I'll give in and eat it, and while it tastes pretty good initially, it always leaves me feeling really ill.

You know what's really weird? I had the McDonald's craving today, so I went to a McD's in Midtown Manhattan, and that place was clean. I ate it 2 hours ago, and so far, so good.

Every fast food place is as good as the person that happens to own that particular franchise. I've seen spotless McDonalds with piping hot fresh food and filthy Wendy's with cold food and nasty help. Can't blame the corporation for a particular store. Find another one. Chances are, it's just a few blocks away.

I don't eat there on a regular basis at all, but a vanilla shake and an order of fries is the best dessert ever.
But yeah, if it was so nasty, why let your step kid still eat there?

I lived for Arby's Beef and Cheddars during my second pregnancy. Not much else tasted good for those first 6 months.

I learned about the 4 food groups while in school:

meat, dairy, fruits and vegetables, and bread.

That means the Big Mac is the world's perfect food, all 4 food groups in one box for about $2.25. How can you beat that?

Well they will all cook there stuff ahead of tim.Including Wendys.My DH had a friend that worked there when he was a teenager and they would cook the burgers ahead of time and put them in water.
So none of them that I know of but maybe Hardees will cook ahead of time.

If that Wendys is doing that then they are breaking the rules!!! If you know this to still be happening you should call corporate. Wendys serves fresh off the grill burgers. They cook them constantly and the ones that get too dried out go into a drawer above the grill to be used as chili meat. I was manager there for 7 years and if we had ever even thought about putting the patties in water we would have been fired and probably shut down.

Well I do know that Wendys uses only 100% ground beef. The mix used to be 80/20. I do not now if that has changed or not. Oh and the 80% is meatand the 20% is fat...your basic mix of the same ground beef you buy in the grocery store. I worked for Wendys back when they had to put the bulk ground beef in a huge machine and patty them each morning. It now comes in pre-pattied cryovac packages and it is still fresh not frozen.
