I agree that spending has been out of control under President Bush - he's been a huge disappointment to me in that department. But I see it only being worse under Obama.

I guess I missed the whole "rights being taken away" thing. I've been here, and I have the exact same rights in 2008 as I did in 2000.

She probably meant everyone in her comment not just those who come here.

Personally I don't see rights being taken away so much as rights not being granted. Whether those should be granted or not is a matter of opinion of course.

Sorry, when I said "here", I meant here in the U.S., not the DIS. And I stand by the statement - there is not a single right that I'm aware of that has been taken away in the last 8 years. I keep hearing that we've lost rights, but I've yet to have anyone give me an example of a right that they personally or anyone they know have lost.
