Eventually, I made it to Orlando.
And had nothing to do.
So I called my mom (you know I must have been REALLY bored to do that!).
Then I had a drink.
Then I bought some stuff at the EarPort (how cute is that? It’s like “Central Perk”).
Then I took what I bought back (the anklet was too big as a bracelet, too small as an anklet).
Then I cruised the croc store (oh! I can devote an entire episode to my
crocs! Yes!).
Then I bought a bottled water.
Then I couldn’t get the bottled water open.
Then I bought some coffee.
Then FINALLY Tammy arrived!
Whee! I love the glass partitions at Orlando so you can see who's coming and get all excited!
And it’s really weird that I can remember everything that I did in the airport when I was bored, but I have NO IDEA WHAT WE DID AT DISNEY!
First, I’ll explain the ground rules of this trip:
1. I *have* to walk slow and not leave Tammy trailing behind.
2. There is no need to make it to the opening of any park. We will be back in a few short months.
3. No thrill rides. Except Everest and Tower of Terror. Cuz they’re my favorite. And Test Track cuz Tammy doesn’t think it’s a thrill ride.
4. R E L A X.
Hmm.
Let’s see.
I *think* on our first day that we went to MK. Cuz there’s no reason for us to spend a whole day there on such a short trip.
Yeah.
We didn’t ride Splash.
We didn’t ride Space.
I don’t think we even rode Big Thunder.
We probably rode Pirates and Buzz Lightyear.
And we probably saw Mickey’s Philharmagic.
Tammy says we rode Carousel of Progress because she’d never seen it before.
But the point of this trip was just to soak up Disney and not be park commandos.
Oh! I know we went to MK on this day – cuz it was a Spectromagic day. And Tammy had never seen it.
Honestly, I’m not sure if I had or not.
Cuz I read and watch so much about Disney, that everything seems familiar to me.
I even knew what my favorite part of the parade was – the butterflies with light up wings.
Oh well. I’m delusional. I don’t care. Much.
Oh yeah! We went to Crystal Palace too. I hadn’t been there since I was a baby. Pooh and friends are not my favorite, but it was still a lot of fun.
Here's some pics! Cuz pics of grown adults with characters are just too good to pass up, right?
This time we'll have a kid so people won't look at us weird!!
I don't really think anyone did look at us weird.
And even if they did, I don't care. Much.
But I'm really scared of what Utah is gonna say when she sees me with my crocs.
And socks!
(I seem to use that smiley a lot when it comes to Utah. I think she intimidates me.)
but anyway, I think socks with crocs is hideous.
But neccessary at Disney.
Cuz I get blisters otherwise.
She'll get over it.
