After Everest was conquered, we headed to Kali.
Only it was shut down!
No!
Tammy still hasnt ridden this one!
We got on it in September of 06, but the ride stopped before we could go anywhere.
We got special fast passes for it, but we never made it back to AK for that trip (so on our last day, I gave them to some random family I saw. I love spreading pixie dust!).
Oh well.
Maybe in September of 07, right?
We tried to get fastpasses to the Safari, but they were all gone and the wait was 40 minutes.
So instead, we split a meal at Tusker House.
Then we tried Kali again (still down).
But on the way, we got to see DeVine again.
Its amazing to me how she only has to be still for maybe 10 seconds for people to be shocked when she moves.
The only thing left to do that we really wanted to see was Its Tough to be a Bug.
So we did that and left the park.
So lets total that up, shall we?
We saw Nemo.
I rode Everest.
We saw Its Tough to be a Bug.
And then we left.
And we still loved every second of our day!
I think we just like being at Disney World. It doesnt matter if were just sitting on a bench. To us, its home.
Our Epcot day was pretty much the same. We rode Nemo (after a really yucky wait), we used fastpasses for Soarin, we rode Test Track, Mission:Space, Ellens Energy Adventure and the new Mexico ride (Grand Fiesta?).
That was it.
Then we went back to the hotel.
Epcot used to be my favorite park, but its just not as much fun when you cant eat and drink around the world.

So now I think I like all the parks equally.
Our last full day we grabbed a cab and went to tour Bonnet Creek.
Oh.
My.
Goodness!
This place is BEAUTIFUL!
We were so glad wed bought into the whole timeshare thing.
The pools here are stupendous. They even have a lazy river.
We had the floor with the models in it to ourselves.
They even show Disney Resort TV! Yay! I dont have to miss Stacy!
We spent forever exploring.
And then it happened.
I got that feeling.
Ya know the one?
The

ooh: feeling?
Oh Crap! (Literally!)
The public restrooms were waaaaay back at check in.
Halfway across the lake.
What was I to do?
Hmm.
Ok.
Ill use the Model bathroom.
So I told Tammy the situation and disappeared for a bit.
Remember how I said we had the whole floor to ourselves?
As I come out of the bathroom, I see a salesman with a nice couple touring the model.
Ack!
And Tammys just sitting on the couch chilling, looking at the Disney book on the table.
I try to non-chalantly motion to Tammy to get up.
She doesnt get it.
Double Ack!
Any second, they will walk towards the bathroom and
KNOW!
No!
They cant KNOW!
Not with me standing there!
So I say Forget it! and rush out.
Tammy follows in a bit.
And we do the run of shame to the elevator, around the lake, through the registration area and out the door!
(Sorry. I dont usually tell poop stories, but all the best trip report writers do it, right?)
Anyway, we waited for the Bonnet Creek bus to take us to MGM.
One downfall to the whole time share thing is the transportation system. They have one or two buses per day per park and if you miss the scheduled time, too bad, so sad.
So we knew wed definitely need a car when September rolled around. Which is good, cuz were driving.
MGM was pretty uneventful. We rode some rides. Saw Indiana Jones because Tammy hadnt seen it before.
And we tried the Brown Derby.
I was not impressed.
It wasnt bad or anything, but since its a two table service restaurant, I was expecting to be wowed. And I wasnt.
Oh well. Now I know!
(Do y'all do that thing where you're like "In exactly two weeks I will be at such and such park?" You don't? Oh. Well I do. So humour me (that was for nabbers). In two weeks I will have checked in, have gone to Wal-Mart and will be chilling at the pool! Or floating in the lazy river! Or playing mini-golf! Or sleeping cuz I drove straight through cuz I was excited! One of those. )
