Anybody care to share their experiences here?

Thanks!

I've heard so many negative experiences about the Maya Grill that I would run, not walk, to the Pepper Market.

Oh, that's too bad. I thought the menu looked pretty good.

Breakfast buffet is excellent and it really fills you up! We also ate at the Pepper Market but for the price you are paying there for breakfast - you might as well enjoy the buffet. :surfweb:

Their appetizers are actually really good. We got some kind of combo appetizer dish (with multiple types) and I can't say that there was something I didn't like. Dinner wasn't bad, but not memorable (I can't even remember what exactly I ordered)

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Thats a classic!!:rotfl:

We ate at the Maya Grill and I have to say it was the worst meal we have had onsite and we have eaten at loads of restaurants.

The food wasn't great and the service was bad. We would not return.:scared:

We have enjoyed the breakfast buffet several times. We were impressed how often the food was changed out, even when pans were not anywhere near empty.
Food was tasty with many choices to please different tastes. They have a breakfast burrito kinda thing that I couldn't get enough of!
The service has been spot-on during our visits. Hope you enjoy it as much as we have!:thumbsup2

We had dinner here on our last trip. First off, let me tell you that we were 1 of maybe 10 families in the entire restaurant. That should probably tell you something right off the bat...
The waitstaff wasn't horrible or rude, but they were not by any means friendly or engaging. We found the food selection to be somewhat limited. I had a steak that was very tough. While we did not have a terrible experience by any means, it was quite simply a waste of a dining credit and we will not be returning.

I have to agree with everybody else here. We tried it in November. My food was o.k. at best. My kids did notlike theirs and my dh food was cold. Like that isn't bad enough the service was sloooow. I love Coronado Springs and will stay there again but we will not visit Maya Grill. We did enjoy the Pepper Market though.

If you do a search on the review page, there have been a couple of good reviews of Maya Grill for dinner lately. The service, unfortunately, though they indicated was lacking. We've stayed at CSR seven of our last eight stays and have never tried Maya for dinner. We're thinking of giving it a shot on our next trip.

Maya Grill was the worst meal we have ever eaten in all our trips to the World. I had a steak that tasted like ashes. :sick:I took 1 bite and it was so bad I had to spit it into a napkin!:scared:The kids had pasta and the "sauce" was a can of stewed tomatoes. The service was terrible. Our server was a total grouch. Never again. :sad2:

We were considering trying the Maya Grill our next trip but from what we can see from reviews both on the net and in the Unofficial Guide (ding) people just aren't happy with it. We decided to check out Raglan Road instead which seems to get better reviews.
