My DH and I thought it would be better to dinner at our resort the first night to make it more relaxing, so we canceled Nine Dragons after seeing the new Maya Grill menu. Can anyone tell me their experiences and maybe post some pics? Im starting to question the choice..
TIA

I have been to Maya grill in the past and loved it and so did my parents.:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Thats good to hear, we are staying at CSR and I booked our first nights dinner here since it will make it easier..I never wanted to eat here until they changed the menu, now it looks pretty good..I read alot of negative reviews prior to the menu change so I was curious..I canceled one of my faves Nine Dragons for it so I hope it is worth it..LOL

:)Could someone post me a link to the new menu please, i have an ADR here in August. Thanks :thumbsup2

While I haven't been there since the updated menu, it appears to be very similar to the old one (comparing AllEars, DIS, and the official).

We went last September and really enjoyed it. Like you, the first time we went was on our arrival night. It was a very good idea as we could just lounge around and get over the annoyances of traveling. This night, we both had the Grilled Beef Shoulder Tender I believe (I know I did at least :p). Food was great and waitstaff was very attentive and just plain good.

We also went on a whim later that week for dinner. (6pm walk-up during free dining... got right in) This time I had the Sauteed Beef Tips and my friend had the Grilled Chipolte Chicken. Once again, all food was very good (I found the chipolte sauce to be excellent, she got it on the side since she doesn't do even slightly spicy). The spiced churros were a great dessert (I got both times) and the chocolate cake was also very good (she got on our 2nd trip).

Overall, I'd most certainly do it again if it worked into the schedule. Unfortunately, too many places I want to go to this time to fit it in :(.
