Hi. I'm headed down with my family from May 19 through 27. I know the weather in May here in Syracuse, NY's very unpredictable from one day to the next. I've also read that the weather's warm in Disney in May. So, should I pack just a sweatshirt, just my Land's End light fleece coat? Should I bring both or does that seem like overkill? Thanks.:)

HERE are the average (and last year's) temperatures for the Orlando area.

HERE are the relative humidity averages for the Orlando area.

Hot, hot and hot. We have gone once end of April early May and two mid May trips. One more planned for this year. No fleece needed. One night it might go into the upper 60s but think sweater or sweatshirt. We brought sweatshirts on two trips for the plane and getting to the airport and never used them. Daytime temps were mid 80s- low 90s. Evenings felt like 70s.

It will be hot. If you get cold easily, bring a jacket or sweater for inside (every place in Florida blasts the air conditioning). I'd recommend a rain jacket in case it storms.

Last year we were there the 12-19th and it was pretty hot. Upper 80's at least. Enjoy!

The days are hot but I have changed to pants in the evening during May. I think a fleece is a smart choice.
