Hmmm...I was just going by what ICollectBelle wrote initially back in post #12

When I look up those room numbers I get 5020, 5022 - Cat 10; 5518 - Cat. 8. Regardless, congratulations. :thumbsup2

Those are our old rooms that we originally booked with secret portholes! We changed those awhile ago to Cat 7 instead. Yay for being on Deck 5!!! :yay:

No assignment here yet either. I know they are keeping one of those Cat 12's just for me. :rotfl2:

Ok I'm kinda sick, I keep refreshing the disney cruise window every 5-10 minutes to see if I have a room yet. I wonder if they assign them alphabetically...

For those who want to play that game my last name starts with an H.

Nothing here yet, either, and I'm a "G".

The thing is, I know they have to move all the folks out of the 9's & 8's before they can move us into them :) but it's still hard to wait!

I wonder if you wouldn't have to log out and log back in to see a status change...that's what I had to do back when I was making Palo dining reservations when our "window" opened.

Hmm! That may be true. However, I logged out, waited a bit, logged back in. Still no assignment. :confused3 :rotfl:

Dining attire varies by venue or theme night on your cruise. In general,
most meals are "Cruise Casual"-- jeans, khakis and capris are permitted;
however, we ask that Guests refrain from wearing shorts, swimwear or
tank tops in the dining rooms.

11-Night Mediterranean Cruise
*Nights 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 11: cruise casual
*Night 2: "formal night" - formal wear for men: tuxedo or suit; for
women: gown or dress
*Night 8: pirate night with deck party - cruise casual or bring your
best pirate outfit!
*Nights 7 & 10: "semi-formal night" - semi-formal wear for men:
suit/jacket; for women: dress or pantsuit.

At this time, we do not have the complete schedule for the special theme
nights that will be offered on your cruise. Please feel free to check
back with us closer to time for you to sail for updated information.

Palo is our romantic alternative restaurant exclusively for our Guests
18 years and older. To maintain this elegant feeling during the various
dining options, a dress code is in place for the Palo Champagne Brunch,
Palo High Tea and Palo Dinner.

-Palo Champagne Brunch and/or Palo High Tea:
Cruise casual wear suggested.
No shorts, swimwear, tank tops or blue jeans are permitted.

-Palo Dinner:
Men - A dress shirt or jacket is required.
Women - A dress or pantsuit is recommended.
No shorts, swimwear, tank tops or blue jeans are permitted.

The following was posted on another Med cruise thread. No mention is made of the exchange rate but I found back in 2007 that DCL definitely put a premium on top of the going rate for US dollar to Euro exchange. I don't recall how much higher though.

Bank of America has an OK exchange rate and you can have the money delivered to a local branch or your house. You can also get travelers checks in euros as well. It went upa little today.

www6.bankofamerica.com/foreigncurrency/index.action

AAA is not a good place for exchange rates (call TipPacks)

I know for Visa credit card has a 3% currency exchange fee, but a good exchange rate. The calculator has exchange rate plus fees

usa.visa.com/personal/using_visa/consumer_ex_rates_us.jsp

My debit card with visa only has a 1% currency exchange rate fee. (might want to ask your local bank what they charge)

Out of all the options listed above the debit card gives the best fee and exchange rate.

Is the Palo brunch the meet and greet on May 16th or it another day? Sorry, trying to catch-up:confused3

Palo has brunch on each of the 3 Sea Days. I'm not 100% sure, but I think Palo only has one seating for brunch and it's at 10-10:30 am. That would mean each of the three groups for which I'm submitting the request, if granted by DCL, would dine on 3 separate days.

This is all separate from other Meet n Greet activities. Clear? :)
