The schedule above is consistent with what we were told previously. In my signature below there is a link to our cruise web site. Under the "Cruise Info" tab you'll see the dining schedule along with our best guess at what the themed shows/dining will be.

Thanks about the website. The information was from DCL. I emailed them for the information.

Palo has brunch on each of the 3 Sea Days. I'm not 100% sure, but I think Palo only has one seating for brunch and it's at 10-10:30 am. That would mean each of the three groups for which I'm submitting the request, if granted by DCL, would dine on 3 separate days.

This is all separate from other Meet n Greet activities. Clear? :)

Thanks Jeff, clear! :)

Palo branch I would skip. But the wine tasting would be nice.

Hey even if worst case scenario happens and I end up with a 12... at least it is a 12 on the DISNEY MAGIC!!! :cool1: Besides we don't spend much time in the room anyway... or at least that is what I keep telling myself LOL :rotfl2:

I read someplace in the thread about a shuttle from Euro Grand Marina (where we are staying) to the port. I am not sure if the hotel provides one, but I know Disney does not.

The Eurostar Grand Marina is about 1.6 km to the port

I found this information online about taxi cost in Barcelona

Q: How are the Taxi fare prices calculated in Barcelona? Are the taxi fares calculated by person or by taxi? What are the supplements?

A: All taxi fares are calculated by taxi and not by per person. The maximum number of people permitted in an official Barcelona Taxi is 4, this also includes Van Taxis.

The approximate rate for Barcelona taxis is 1.10 euro / Km. There is a minimum fee of 2.00 euros when you get in the cab.

Supplements to the final meter price are added due to the following factors.
1. A supplement for each bag or suitcase carried in the boot of the taxi. ( 1 euro)
2. Supplement for Barcelona airport pick up or drop off ( 3.10 euro)
3. Supplement for picking up or dropping off at the Barcelona Cruise terminal (2.10 euro)
4. Supplement for pickup or drop off at the Fira exhibition centre (2.10 euro)

All supplement prices will be displayed at the passenger window of the taxi at the back of the cab. When the taxi stops you will see the meter price and then the taxi driver will press a supplements button on the meter to increase the fare to the final price inclusive of the supplements.

For a full breakdown of prices, rates and supplements for Barcelona Taxis we recommend you visit the Metropolitan Institute for Barcelona Taxis website that gives a complete and comprehensive list of taxi fares and supplements along with a wealth of other useful information on the Barcelona taxi service.

Here is the info on the "Blue Bus".

Cruise Port Shuttle Bus Service (Blue Bus)

The Blue Bus runs from all the Cruise port terminals to the monument of Christopher Columbus and back. The walking time from the Christopher Columbus monument to La Rambla is about 1 minute, and the nearest MetroMetro is Drassanes (Green Line, L3), which is only about 5 mins walk from the monument. Once at the metro you will have a good transport connection to the rest of the city. The price of the ticket is 2 euros for a single and 3 euros for a day return. The tickets can only be purchased with cash on the bus. You cannot use the T10 transport ticket on this bus service. There is no fixed timetable for the Blue Bus however the cruise terminal operators co-ordinate the running of the bus with the arrival and departures of the cruise ships. On average the bus leaves every 30 minutes from the Christopher Columbus monument. The bus is adapted for easy access for the disabled traveller with a wheelchair. If you are looking to take the Barcelona Tours Bus (The hop on hop off tourist site seeing bus) then you can do so once you are dropped off at the Columbus monument. The tourist bus has a stop just a few meters from where the Blue Bus leaves from the Columbus monument.

This information was clipped from The Barcelona Tourist Guide.

Hello Jeff,

Just wondering if you could confirm whether we've been added to the Palo brunch group for myself (Evelyn) and my husband Gavin? If not, I'll send across the DCL reservation number to your personal email.

As well, we apparently received a room upgrade! We are now in stateroom # 8028.

still no room assignment here:littleangel:

does anyone know when we can book palo brunch, been checking and never seen it avaliable

thanks

Looks like we've got room assignment now, but I am thinking it's too good to be true, so I think I am going to check again later tonight. I've read that Disney may still make changes even after room assignment has been done initially. Is this true?

It appears that the Palo brunch reservations that were made available before embarkation were all taken ages ago. (They were gone when I tried to book at the 75 day point). At this point, unless you happen to catch it when someone cancels, you'll have to wait until you board and see if you can book Palo brunch at that time. A certain percentage of reservations are held for onboard booking.

I've heard they won't *downgrade* you. But they might upgrade you further (that happened to some folks on the transatlantic). So don't keep us in suspense. What did they upgrade you from and to?

Well this GTY level 12 family has been assigned. Looks like we have connecting category 9 rooms on level 2. Room is rated noisy but that is only issue.

We purchased in January direct from Disney. My theory was booking direct would lead to more pixie dust. Looks good so far.

OMG!!!!! I GOT A CATEGORY 6!!!!! Unless I am totally blind, or can't read, I got cabin #6144, a CATEGORY 6!!!!!

Talk about your Pixiedust!!!! :banana::banana: :cool1::cool1: :yay::yay: :dance3::dance3:

I'm in shock and breathless! I was praying for a Cat 9. I *NEVER* imagined a 6!!!! OMG!

Sayhello

We too received our stateroom # but think it's too good to be true! We had a Gty Cat 12 and got a Cat 8 oceanview on deck 5! We stayed in this part of the ship before and find it's nice and quiet and low travelled. Here's to hoping they don't change them! :yay:

OMG!!!! I am right near you Sayhello. I got CAT 6 too!!! Rm 6148!!! :cool1: I AM SOOOO happy I can scream. :cheer2::lovestruc:banana:

OMG, congrats everyone!!! What amazing upgrades! Still nothing for us yet, but I have my fingers crossed!

Does anyone know what the asterisk on the DIS deck plans means? Not that I care, I'm just curious!

WHOOHOO!
