I think I've read that the verandahs are solid walled instead of plexiglassed, anyone confirm this?

Same here! I'm completely obsessive about it now! I hope they don't make us wait until tomorrow - that would be torture.

Make sure you log out & then log back in. Updates don't always show up unless you log out then back in.

Thanks! If you want to see exactly where your room is, you can go on the DCL website and click on ship tour. There is a place for you to put your room number and it will show you the deck. Then just roll your mouse over the rooms till you find it. Looks like you are midship/aft I believe!

That's exactly it. The rooms with an asterick in the aft part of the ship have the solid white wall verandahs vs. the plexi glass. But hey, it's a verandah when you were expecting a dark room with no windows - how exciting!!! A few years ago we stayed in room 7134 which is aft with the white wall and it was great! Also, if you look on the map you'll see that a few of the rooms in that part of the ship actually have a larger verandah due to the ship's design. Our room (7134) was like that. My mom was right next to us in 7132 and our verandah was significantly larger! So for whoever got room 6148, 6150, and 6152 you will LOVE your extra space out there!!!

I'm so happy everyone is getting such great upgrades!!! We are such a happy group of cruisers!!

The ship must be pretty empty except for the CAT 12's if many of us are moving right up to verandas.

As well, we apparently received a room upgrade! We are now in stateroom # 8028.

Nice! You are neighbors to 8030: The Walt Disney Suite!! Maybe you should go introduce yourself and get a tour! We were fortunate enough several years ago to go on a cruise where one of the DIS'ers had the Walt Suite and had an open house for us to come take a look. AMAZING!!

Don't give up yet!!! I think they work at night with the room assigning.. Last night I kept checking at 6:00, 6:30, 7:00.... Finally gave up and then my Dad checked around 9:30 and there it was!!

Alright...I checked and was at first really bummed to see the Cat 12 still there but checked the room numbers and we have 6146 and 6150.
