Hi guys! Haven't been around much (getting prepared for the new baby! ) But, I know I can count on some DIS'ers to throw some prayers and pixie dust our way.

We got a call from the social worker tonite that our birthmom is being what she calls "dramatic". She said not to worry (easy for her to say) and that everything is still on track. She is meeting with the birthmom and birthdad tomorrow (Wednesday) nite and will let me know how that goes.

We would appreciate any extra prayers you may have! Thanks!

I was adopted myself and although I eventually did learn who my "birth" parents were, I want you to know that I always considered my adoptive parents to be my "real" Mom & Dad..

What you're doing is a wonderful thing and if circumstances are such that the birth mom & dad are unable to provide for their baby, I hope they have the courage and the wisdom to do what is best for all concerned..

I would guess there are few things that would shake prospective adoptive parents up as much as hearing the birthmother is being 'dramatic'. I am sorry that this isn't an easy situation for anyone involved and I really hope it all goes well for everyone from this point on and you hear good news tomorrow.
