May hours caused itenary changes! What do ya think?

Question about your MK day on May 25.

You have Teaparty at 1:30 ..where is that at?
And 1900 Park Faire is at the same place?
Are you going to go back to MK after dinner?
If you arrive at MK at opening 9 am and leave by 12:45 to take monorail at GF (if thats where tea party is) thats not much time at MK and what are you going to do after tea party ? And have to come back for dinner within a few hours? What time is dinner at? Will you have time to do anything in between tea and dinner remembering that transportation may take awhile.

Thats they only day I'm not sure I would do like that. But remember its your vacation and whats important for you may not be for me. If a few hours in AM at MK are enough for you thats great.
I hope you have a great time. I will be there from May 13-19. Staying three nights at BWV's as well.

We will go to the Wonderland Tea party for an hour at GF and then go back to MK for a couple of hours to meet up with the rest of the family. Then we will return to GF for dinner @ 5:30 so we should have 51/2 hours in total @ MK plus Saturdayday afternoon and evening when we arrive which is another 6 hours.
We intend to sleep in every day except the 2nd MK day and the last morning at CBR.
Plus Ryleigh and I are going again in October with my 11 year old nephew!

I'd be a little cautious about accepting the May hours as final. They are a good bit heavier than last May and there are some odd anomolies that may be errors to be fixed.

For example, AK is shown to be open until 8 pm on Memorial Day. Yet, open until 6pm on Saturday of that weekend and 7 pm on Sunday. That's backwards from the norm. Typically, a park is open longest on the weekend days that time of the year, with slightly shorter hours on Memorial Day Monday.

It would be great if these are the final hours, but I just have a hunch that there is more tweaking yet to come.

I agree that the hours seem a little strange. But I attributed the 8PM closing on Memorial Day to the fact that AK is open for early entry on Mondays. That, with the holiday, could add up to tremendous crowds, so maybe they are stacking the hours due to this.

Aimfred, I agree with that in theory. But, take a look at April hours. There will be many, many more guests at WDW the weekend of April 11th. But, the AK hours never exceed 7pm, even on EE days.

If there are any errors, I really hope it's just that. Becasue, otherwise, the hours look great. 10p closings at MK on Memorial Day weekend haven't happened since the year 2000.
