Finished my FE. I made it all myself, without sewing. It isn't perfect but I really like it.

You can tell it's getting closer to our cruise date because we're all running around like crazy trying to get everything we THINK we need, knowing that 1/2 the stuff will probably never be used or worn.

Ok, so what do you guys think of this? I got this great picture from Cindy (which a cropped a tiny bit) - thanks Cindy! I was thinking of printing it 16x20 at Costco (it's only $5.99!) and then leaving it at Guest Services for the characters to sign. Do you think there's enough room for signatures? What about the text I added? Is it lame? Thanks for the help!

Just got done doing 50 minutes of Tae Bo now to start work on Fish Extenders will be done by next Friday. Yah!!


Also trip plans changed a little. We are still staying at All Star Music on the 7th and spending the 7th at Magic Kingdom then going to Epcot and Graden Grill for dinner. Next day HS and or AK until about 3pm. Drive to Port Canveral check in at the Residence for my free night Then go to Park and Cruise and take ther shuttle to the ship (I have heard good things about them and they are so much cheaper like $74 cheaper . Like and enjoy my first ever cruise in my 11C Stateroom. Then after are relaxing cruise my husband has convinced me to do something last minute which I normally would not do this last minute. What you might ask? Will the back story is we where going to Star Wars Celebration in August since my husband get extra funds from job then. But he has training that week and we had to cancel the trip. So here goes the surprise We are going back to WDW and camping at the FW. For 6 nights with QSDP standard loop so that we can catch Star Wars Weekend.

Cindy - I had heard if you want to have stuff signed, you can drop it and a bag of candy at Guest Services and they'll have the characters sign it. I assumed it was all the characters. I'm going to feel pretty weird showing up with my picture and a bribe!

Feisty - So cool! Congrats on the extended stay!

I have 3 Vinylmation's all bagged up with candy and a photomat to get signed. Since we have 2 staterooms, I hope I can get 4 things signed.

So cute!!!! It looks absolutely awesome! Where did you find the Mickey heads with the bandanas? (I ordered our entire FE with those also, but would like to have a few extra of those if possible!)

DS would be soooo jealous of your Star Wars celebration trip. I finally broke down and let him watch it with DH, so that's ALL he ever talks about (or reenact in our house).

We placed a white pillowcase in a large ziploc w/ different color perm markers + lots of candies. We had about 15 autographs. The best souvenir ever! I think I'm going to do that with a shirt this time.

Our guy is obsessed with trains too. We've got pretty much every Chuggington train there is. He's also got a LEgo train, a train table, and train wallpaper border in his room. His first train trip last summer.... we put him to bed at his normal time and almost 2 hours later, he comes downstairs and asks "when is someone going to come get me to go on the train?" We tried to explain that no one had slept yet, but he insisted he had!

I am getting logged out all the time too. I don't know what the deal is. At least the board is faster!

Yes, you absolutely can leave items to be signed. Some folks ask for specific characters, and others just let them have all sign them. Wasn't sure if you were going to do just specific ones or go for the gusto!

I think I'm going to drop off a photo matt like Kelly did. So I'll need the matt some colored sharpies and candy, right? Then I can take it to guest services and they'll have it signed for me? It almost sounds to easy. Where is guest services on the boat?

How fun for his first train trip! We were practically raised on trains, living in Chicago and all. I still love to take Amtrak for longer trips when possible.

Yeah, strange stuff here too. I could not see my countdowns for the first couple of days...and now they just come and go. Odd!

I agree! As long as the pages loaded quicker, I can deal with logging in each time I come by (although I have not had to the last day or so).

Oh, wish we could. I will be working at 8:20 though on the 8th. Will probably leave around noon since our plan is to hit the road around 2:00ish. Have fun at MK!

That sounds easy enough! I'm guessing you just had the graphics made by a DISer then? I need to check out some of their websites and see if there is anything new I might like to add to my magnet collection as well.

That is absolutely correct. Best to put all of it in a bag (ziploc type) so it stays together and does not get lost. Guest Services is on Deck 3 (same deck we will board on), on the opposite side of the entry doors, just off the lobby atrium.


Well, I'm a bit miffed today. Our postal service on Saturday's has been hit or miss as of late. This is now the third Saturday in the past two months they have not delivered mail. The last of my FE goodies were supposed to be in today's mail, which means my FEs are still not finished (cannot tie up the bags yet until those arrive).

Ok, I'm off to start putting clothes together for packing. That will keep my occupied!

Congrats on the weight loss! I keep losing 1-3 pounds and gaining them back. Been a frustrating trip so far. This never happened before I hit 30. Grrrr. DS would be soooo jealous of your Star Wars celebration trip. I finally broke down and let him watch it with DH, so that's ALL he ever talks about (or reenact in our house).

I understand about that mine fluctuates a lot I have been using My Fitness Pal online like suggested here and it has really helped along with some Billy Blanks Tae Bo work our DVDs. I am about 12 pounds from the lightess weight I have been since about the 3rd grade I do not think I have grown height wise since I was in the fourth grade. My problem is I have a lot of muscle mass. My aunt said how my weightloss was going yeturday and I told here I was done to 139.8 and she was suprised I weight that much yah for not looking like I way that much I love Star Wars too but mu husband is the one that got me into it. He bought me a Luke Skywalker Light Saber for Christmas Me and my husnad are such kids at heart that we actually had a Light Saber fight in the living room.

My husband has four more work days until vaction. and I am done with school until May 24th I usually book WDW world myself but we went through AAA because they were able to save money that way.

Ha! We have all those plus every friggin Thomas the Tank Engine & Whittles Shortline (since they're in STL). We also got him the Polar Express for Christmas last year. We happen to live in a suburb of St. Louis that has an old fashioned train station with a frozen custard "shack" next door, so we've been taking DS there to see trains (and for me to get my frozen custard fix) every week since he was born. If time allows, I'm going to try to book The Polar Express ride in Branson this winter. As ecstatic as he was about the Amtrak ride today, I think he may just pass out if he knew about that. I know we're probably going a bit overboard, but I just want to capture the "magic" before it all ends, you know? Before you know it, he's going to roll his eyes and tell me Santa Claus isn't real.

I love it! My philosphy is don't grow up until you absolutely have to!! PS - DH also has a light saber - the one you press a button and it actually lights up just like the real one and goes "wong wong" each time you swing it. Yeah, we are total geeks at heart.

Cindy - I hope your mailman gets things right soon. Isn't it interesting what competition can do? Had USPS been nice, friendly and customer-focused from Day 1, UPS and Fedex wouldn't have encroached on their territory and make them have to staff down. Now they're so far behind they may never recover, even though I've noticed some drastic attitude changes of late ... for the positive.
