No docs for me. But I booked so late. Am taking my neices shopping tomorrow for bathing suits although they have no idea why (tee hee)...

As for me, went shopping today for bathing suits and bought two coats???!?!?! No luck with swimwear. Off to Victoria Secrets website. Tend to have luck there.

My tip was about using the showers in the spa. You don't have to pay for the spa to use the showers because they are part of the fitness center. They are the best! Much better water pressure, a much more enjoyable way to get ready for dinner! I don't know about the women's showers, but the best one in the mens area is the one on the far right!

For some reason I haven't been getting the newsletters, so I never got to see it!

Castaway JP,I did read about the spa shower tip, and told my hubby about it. Not sure if it was on the Dis or Mousesavers, but maybe it was your tip.

DH and I went shopping yesterday for some shirts for him. We wandered by the shoe dept. at Boscov's which was mobbed. We discovered that they were having a sale...buy 1 get 1 for .$01. This sale included Crocs!!!!! Now let me tell you that DH is very anti-Croc. (He can't believe that plastic shoes cost $30.00). Long story short, I purchased a pair of Malindis for both myself and DIL so they came to $15.00 each. I have a couple of pairs of knock-offs and they don't compare in comfort to the real Crocs. I'm so glad we were at the right place at the right time!

I worked on the FE last night. I would say it's about 1/3 complete and looks pretty good . I'm actually taking one apart that I bought from a Diser, and modifying it by adding a different background fabric. It will have 3 pockets, and I'm going to personalize it with iron-on letters and add some trim.

Grumpymon73, thanks for updating the FE list! I'm going to go ahead and add our info. We got our upgrade when we booked. We paid inside cabin price and got a secret porthole room.

Disdee-Denise and Gary (DH) Cabin 5520

Have a nice Sunday everyone!

I read that tip, too! Way to go CastawayJP!:yay:

CastawayJP - I went through my old email and found the Newsletter that has your tip. If you would like to see it just PM me with your email address and I will forward it to you.

Only 25 days to go.........

Well I have given the fish extender project to my DD11. I think she knows how to sew better than I do! We also got one off ebay and took the pockets off yesterday and are going to get some different fabric to sew them on to!

For the FE exchange our cabin # is 2602 for myself (Andrea), DD11 (Lyndzi) and DS7 (Mason).

Thanks Grumpymom73 for updating the list!

MODisneyfan: I saw in an earlier post that you said you are from SW Missouri and are thinking of driving. We are in NW Arkansas (just a wee bit closer) and we're driving. We love road trips and it will enable us to visit my mom for a day in Clearwater, FL (It's about 19 hours to there) on our way to WDW (staying 5 nights) before the cruise. This is no small undertaking, but our thinking is flying is always stressful for us (ALWAYS-my youngest always throws up because of nerves and I HATE FLYING!) and it forces you to really spend time together on a road trip. So, if you've got the time and patience to drive, I say go for it! But I do see why people prefer to fly, you just want to GET THERE!

I want to thank You guys for responding so quickly, it's nice to talk to other people who are just as excited as I am, everyone here thinks I'm insane  I will see what I can find for the FE, if I can dream up something before the trip maybe we'll join in on the fun. I'll keep ya posted.

I love driving,so I decided that is what I was going to do.. I have never been to the gulf coast so I am going to Panama City as well as going to see a friend in Mississippi.. I am excited and can't wait.. I am only getting 1/2 day in Orlando but I am going to Disney for a week in Sept so I am ok with that..

I am also not sure about the FE..I ordered one off Ebay and won but didn't figure right so I'm not getting it. So What else can I use.. I don't have a sewing machine or anything so it has to be something pre made.. Could I use like a beach bag??? I know it takes away from the fun but I want to join in. Also if you do something big, do you do one per room or one per person..

I've never done the FE exchange before, but I'm sure you can use anything. As long as you can hang it outside your door and people can put stuff in it I think you will be fine. Maybe a medium sized gift bag would work if the handles fit over the fish outside your door. :confused3
As for the gifts, it's up to you. One thing for the whole family or cabin is fine.

Just an update to let you know that my FE made it!! :cool1: Now just waiting for my cruise documents!!

Yeah, I'm so glad it came mdhkitten! I'm sure your cruise docs will come soon.

Only 24 days to go!!!!!!!

The UPS guy just delivered our cruise docs! Woo Hoo! We spent most of the weekend watching our movies from our prior cruises and getting pumped up! It seems like all we can talk about now!

We drove down from DC for our first three cruises, but this is our first time flying. I have to say that it seems like a part of the trip is missing without the drive down, but the drive back is just torture! It is just getting back to the real world far too quickly!

Congrats on getting your Cruise Docs CastawayJP!

I'm worse than my kids when it comes to driving. I hate it! I always prefer to fly. We live in Central FL and the longest drive I can handle is the 6 hours it takes us to get to Atlanta or Hilton Head. It's not the kids saying "Are we there yet? How much longer?" in our car. :lmao:

In all the excitement of the cruise docs getting here I forgot to mention that we found out today that our baby that is due in August is a Boy!

party:

So soon we will be...

Me:goofy: DW:earsgirl: DD8princess: DD1princess: DSpirate:

Thanks! Our days of booking Cat 12 GTY's are over after this though! Now we'll have to move up to Cat 4's or adjoining rooms!

Ok CastawayJP, or anyone else that would know for sure. As you may know, I booked Category 12 and am staying in an 11 (so no windows). Is it really that bad? This will be my first cruise. I was hoping to book at least a porthole window or even a navigator's verandah before, but since I'm in the Southwest employment pool I could be called at any time should a position open. Due to this I didn't need to lose any more money than possible should this occur. That's why I stuck with the 12.

So, input anyone? Thanks!!!! :goodvibes

On my first cruise, I had a inside( It was RCCL) And it wasn't bad at all.. I really enjoyed it..You are not in you room that often anyways and it is great on days that you are wanting to sleep in..
