Anyone know if a large 32" suitcase will fit somewhere in the room???!!! I have pulled everything out to get ready to pack and my dilema is do I need to add another 28" suitcase to my to buy list or will I be able to cram my 32" suitcase somewhere??? Thanks!:thanks:

We stand our 36" Samsonites in the closet and they fit.

Bobbi-Where did you order the GoodyPak from? I looked at the stuff on the Disney site and wasn't overly thrilled with any of them, but would love to surprise the munchkins with something in the stateroom...

Thx.
Dawn

Bobbi can correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it was from here: http://goodypak.com

I guess I'll haul out the luggage today and start some packing. I ordered a Lightning McQueen GoodyPak to be delivered to our stateroom for DS yesterday. So cute! :lovestruc

They look really cute! Unfortunately I'd have to buy 2. I thought about ordering something from Shirley. I haven't made up my mind yet.

We're running to JC Penny today to get him his THIRD pair of dress shoes in the past year. When we went to my cousin's son's Bar Mitzvah in November, I had packed his dress shoes, and when I was getting him dressed, I couldn't get them on his feet. I ran over the the PayLess next to the hotel and grabbed a new pair for him to wear. When we tried those on last week, it was like putting the glass slipper on one of Cinderella's stepsisters! Size 10 last summer to size 12 today. I'm thinking I'll get him a 12 1/2 so he might be able to wear them to my nephew's wedding in July. I refuse to buy a 5 yo FOUR PAIR OF DRESS SHOES IN LESS THAN A YEAR!!:sad2:

Just wait it gets worse. Wait until their jeans are as big as yours and you get them mixed up.

Also, I got my fish finder in the mail on Friday!! She did an awesome job. It is really cute. :cool1:

Just ordered my reward dollars shopping card from my disney visa too.

My cruise docs didn't come today. But we used a TA because she had locked in a price that I could no longer get. Oh well maybe we'll have them in the next week.

Haven't started packing yet but I do have a rubbermaid box full of all the non clothing items I've bought specifically for the trip. So at least I know where all that stuff is.

Another huge packing tip for everyone that I remembered today: Make sure you keep your laundry caught up. I've read so many times and know people that can't pack the day before the trip because they are still doing laundry. What were they thinking? :sad2:

I am always doing a crazy amount of laundry the night before, but I'm hoping with all the new clothes, it won't happen this time!
Personally, I find this always happens 'cause you regularily wear your favourite stuff (to work, at least I do) and this happens to be the same stuff that you wanna bring on the trip!
I did read an awesome tip about bringing laundry home though... some people just put their luggage un-zipped on top into the closet, and use it as a hamper. No folding, just "shoving in" of dirty clothes and appearantly it works. You just zip and go when you are done and it is filled, I'm going to see how that goes.

I had a nice surprise as part of my pkg. I got a $75 onboard credit! I had no idea it was coming... and I booked it myself... :wizard: I guess it is because of my place of employment. :dance3:

:yay: I can not believe the 30 minutes I was gone this morning I get a package that requires a signature. It is either our docs or my cheap disney trading pins. Either way I am excited about tomorrow.

Yeah, DH insisted we order the Family Fun Pack last year, which was cute, but I knew DS wouldn't really be excited about anything in it! :confused3

Yes! Those are the ones.

They look really cute! Unfortunately I'd have to buy 2. I thought about ordering something from Shirley. I haven't made up my mind yet.

I really wanted to order something from Shirley too, since she is such a giving soul on this board, but we are bringing sand toys and DS doesn't really eat alot of candy or any of the stuff I see on her website. :guilty: These really do look cute, though!

Just wait it gets worse. Wait until their jeans are as big as yours and you get them mixed up.

:scared1: Since I am very small boned and I buy all his tee shirts oversized, I could definitely fit into some of his tee shirts already!! It'll be quite a while though until I can squeeze my ample booty into a pair of jeans that hold his bitty bottom!

Also, I got my fish finder in the mail on Friday!! She did an awesome job. It is really cute. :cool1:

I think she does beautiful work! :lovestruc Wish I could sew, but I'm going over to Mom's later this week to see if I can manage two simple side seams to take in a couple of Mickey print dresses I ordered from DisneyShopping.com. They're ok the way they are ---a smidge loose, but would be more flattering if just a tad more form fitting.

Just ordered my reward dollars shopping card from my disney visa too.

Got mine last month and just transferred this months DDRDs!

My cruise docs didn't come today. But we used a TA because she had locked in a price that I could no longer get. Oh well maybe we'll have them in the next week.

I think mine are being routed through my TA as well, and I think she sent them last year via snail mail :sad2: , so it might be a few more days!

I've got a box in my closet with pirate costumes, first aid/sundries kit, and other non-clothing stuffs. I didn't get out the suitcases the other day, but maybe today! :)

Can anyone tell I finally figured out what the multi-quote button is for? :lmao:

First of all what time in the morning do you people get up???? I guess it just looks extremely early because I'm CST.

Can you force yourself to not look so cute at work for a week? :lmao: Do your laundry the weekend before and pack your cute stuff. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the tip.

Congrats on the onboard credit. :cool1:

Isn't that the way it always goes? Fortunately they usually try again.

Try trying to impress a 13 & 9 yo.

Yes but it will be here before you know it. By the time he's done with elementary probably. Have you seen the size of those 5th & 6th graders? Believe it or not he'll be that big too. I cried when I saw the hairy 8th graders when I took my oldest to the middle school open house. I remembered thinking in Elementary those kids are huge. Especially compared to a kindergartener. At the end he was that huge too. So I knew he's be hairy too by the time he was done. I didn't think it was possible. Now he's about an inch from being as tall as I am. Of course I'm not very tall. And because your small boned they get as big as you are sooner. Trust me I'm small boned too. :lmao:

I didn't even apply for my card until January. I was trying to get as many points on there as I could. Do you think I'll get mine before we leave?

Not sure how my TA will do it. Probably snail mail too.

OH dear!!!!!!!! Can someone tell me how to use this multiple quote button?! I love it!!!!!!!!!!! :lmao:

OH dear!!!!!!!! Can someone tell me how to use this multiple quote button?! I love it!!!!!!!!!!! :lmao:

It's the button to the right of the quote button. You have to be logged in to see it. It has a big quotation marks on it.

Hit it once on each entry you want to quote. It turns red to let you know it's activated. Then hit the normal quote button on one of them and it'll bring you to the reply to thread page and you'll see them all in there. Instead of just having the quote for one person it'll have all of them in there.

Hope this helps!

Just click on the multi quote button at the bottom of a post (next to the Quote button) for each post you want to quote in the order you want to quote them. Then click on your post reply button. :thumbsup2 If you want to break up a long quote from the same post, you have to copy the "QUOTE" code inside the brackets at the beginning and end of each section, or else your reply will be inside the yellow.

First of all what time in the morning do you people get up???? I guess it just looks extremely early because I'm CST.

No illusion! Every other morning I awaken at 4:00 AM to run on the treadmill and have breakfast ALONE before DS is up and in my face. Otherwise, I'm up around 5:30.

I know, I know! :sad2: I used to teach 8th grade, and I always would say, "I'm glad I don't have one of those living in my house!" DS is on his way to being 6' 2" at least, according to the pediatric height predictors! My husband is just under 6', and he's the shortest male on either side of the family. My dad was 6' 4", and my middle nephew is 6' 2". DS looks just like both of them, so he's got alot of their genes. Unfortunately, he's pretty well doomed to be hairy as well; both DH and I are pretty well covered with fur! :rotfl: I'm looking forward with some trepidation to my first ever waxing appt. before the cruise.

I might call Chase, because mine came in only a couple of weeks. You can keep transferring points to your card online even after it arrives right up until it expires! I had trouble getting it last year for some reason, but this year it went like clockwork!

Just got a call from DH who works from home. The UPS man arrived a few minutes ago at our door with our cruise docs!!! :thumbsup2 I want to drive home right now so that I can hold them. :cloud9:

Then the UPS guy traveled down the street to our neighbors to brighten their day.

It's official - we're cruising soon!!!

No docs yet, but I did pick up my pins. DD and DS are sure to have fun trading onboard ship. Congrats to those who got their docs today.:thumbsup2

Hi Guys!
Sure has taken me a long time to catch up with what I've missed, whilst I have been busy past week or two!
And I am cross eyed with you clever multi quoters :crazy2: :crazy2: Excellent stuff!

Hi to newer people on the thread

I have more or less sorted clothes for me and DH...just a few more things to get! Our back bedroom looks like a cross between a jumble sale and a laundry....keep hoping one of those lifestyle makeover teams will find their way in and sort it all for me...not sure who you have in US..we have Trinny and Susannah.and Gok? :rotfl2:

No travel docs yet here in UK.maybe tomorrow :goodvibes

We have booked everything but car hire or maybe shuttle...will get on to that at the weekend hopefully. Have been booking stuff for the Universal and Disney part of the holiday in between work and family pressures this last week.. Have been busy meeting folks on the other boards also...got lucky with a really lovely lady offering spare places in her booked Fireworks boat cruises...so we have one for Illuminations and one for Wishes organised. :wizard: One of the thing that is so great about these boards are the lovely people that you get to hook up with!

We also plan to be in Sea World on the Saturday (end of cruise day)...so see you there guys:wave:

Its getting nearer now.....and the excitement is infectious :jumping1:

Love
Lyn

Lyn,

Congrats on getting Fireworks Cruises! I have done both and although my Wishes cruise was incredible I am particularly fond of the Illuminations cruise. I know you are going to have a wonderful time.

We got our docs today!!!!!

Linda

I am still at work, but hubby just called and said the cruise docs came today.
Doin' the cruise doc dance :cool1:  :cool1:  :cool1:

We got our docs today too, but since we did everything online and aren't using the transfers, the only thing we really need in there are the luggage tags. But nonetheless...just means we're getting closer! WHOO HOO!

Thanks for the goodypak site...I am going to go check it out.

Dawn

I ordered goodypak's for Gavin & Kendall...I hope i did it right! Added the 'cruise delivery' to the cart...and then for the delivery address, I put in Disney Cruise Line, the sail date, etc...

Fingers crossed...

Yeah, that order form was a little confusing. When you add the cruise delivery to the cart, it asks for all your cruise information, and then displays is for your confirmation. Then when you go to pay, it lists your home address for "shipping address." I didn't change that, because I thought that was where they would send the invoice. I hope that was right!

Me too! me too! me too!

We received our cruise docs in the mail today also! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Ours had ground transfers and luggage tags. It's not much but sure is exciting. I almost cried. I'll be a basket case by the time I finally get on that boat. It's all good people good tears I'm packing kleenex just in case. :thumbsup2

On another note I sure hope American Airlines gets their act together regarding those MD 80s. That's what we're supposed to be flying on. It's really making me nervous them cancelling all those flights.

I called over the weekend and checked my hotel reservation. Glad I did. They had me in a room I didn't book and for 14 dollars more. I said nope that's not what I paid for. I'm not paying 14 dollars more. I don't super care which room I get but I'm not getting a lesser room for more. So if you bump me down make sure you bump the price down too. I told her I would be bringing my email confirmations and what I printed off on the screen when I booked. She said she fixed it. I may call back later to confirm it's still fixed.
