Hey Brandie--Just a thought...If memory serves, they do the dining 'stuff' a couple weeks in advance. I'd recommend giving them a call around mid-April to see if they can get you seated with us.

Yeah, it is worse 'cause I am a travel agent too... so it is staring at me in the face every day. Today we are on a winter storm warning. DH left work at 6 pm, it is almost 9 pm... traffic is so bad that he isn't home yet. It has been snowing non stop for the past couple of weeks it seems.

I just keep dreaming about the Caribbean...

Sorry to hear about the snow. I hope your dh makes it home safely. I live in the PNW so I understand the dreary winter days and dreaming of the Caribbean. I really need to find some good posters for my office cubicle.

Don't laugh! In order for DH to agree to last year's cruise and Disney marathon trips, I had to give up presents for several holidays! Totally worth it though.

Hi Dawn, we do the same thing! Actually, we don't even exchange birthday presents, Christmas presents, Valentines, anniversaries, nothing. We say, for us, it's silly because it's all one bank account anyway. We do silly little gestures instead and take lots of vacations.

Ya, that's generally what ends up happening on our end too. Our trips always seem to fall around Christmas which means we have nothing left for gifts... but that is completely fine with me.

We applied our final payment yesterday! So, all we have left to do is to get a car rental for the last day, we're staying in Orlando 'till the 11th... and get a room for that night. As well as book our excursions and we'll be good to go!~

We bought 2 dozen pink roses for Fiona (who is all of THREE, and demanded them from Sam's Club) and a bouquet of red tulips for me the Saturday before Valentine's. On Valentine's Day, I trashed the wilted tulips and pulled the heads off the wilted roses to dry on baking sheets on the formal dining room. Amazingly, doing that to "her" roses didn't traumatize her. She tried eating a petal, though.

I might sugar the rest of the petals (thanks Paula Deen for the idea! ) but I'm a little nervous about pesticides; being Sam's Club specials, there's no telling what's on the roses. Nah, I'll skip it.

OK, I cannot believe it. My husband agreed to let me go to WDW BY MYSELF for a long weekend while our season passes are still good. HOLY #($&#*$*. So, in 12 short days, I am off to the land of the mouse (AGAIN)!

Part of me feels weird about it. In June, DH and I went and it was fun and while with the whole family, I've done things alone (i.e. to see the fireworks, etc.), but have never just GONE and done whatever by myself (including eating). So, the weird thing is not having anyone with me and experiencing it alone (sans kids or even hubby). But another part of me is majorly STOKED! I can do whatever/whenever and don't have to worry about the kids and DH wearing out on me!

So yet again, I say...HOLY #($&#*$$!!!

Jodie--I'm staying at PopCentury...As a family and as just me and hubby, we've stayed there a couple times before and I like it...elegant, but cheap! After all, the only thing we do there is sleep (and have an occasional meal). OK, so it's not SUPER cheap, but the passholder rate helps and for our January trip, it actually was crazy cheap...Every so often they have a passholder rate and it really makes attractive! I see you're in NJ? Whereabouts? We're in Mt. Laurel.

Hi Dawn, that's where my friend stays when she goes solo. I have never been to the POP, but it looks cool! Have an awesome time! We are in NW NJ, on the PA/NJ border, in Lopatcong Twp.
