Cristy,

Hi there! We have been lurking this thread for a long time. I guess it's time to join the fun!

More importantly, we will be neighbors on the ship, because we are in 2522!

We are a family of 4: Mom, dad, and two kiddos (age 4 and 17 mos).

Looking forward to counting down with everyone

We are driving down on Memorial Day and will be at Shades of Green for 3 nights prior to the cruise. Then after we get back to shore we will be staying at Westgate Town Center (off site but still really close to Disney) for a week. Maybe we will end up in the same parks one day. Here is what I have planned:

before cruise:
26th - DHS
27th - MK (my birthday)

after cruise:
1st - ?
2nd - AK
3rd - Epcot
4th - ?
5th - Busch Gardens
6th - DHS (SWW)
7th - Heading for home

We will go to the MK either the 1st or 4th......haven't decided yet.

Hi Andrea! That is so cool!!!!!! This is our first cruise so we are super excited! DS was just asking me last night if anyone I knew from here would be close to us....he will be excited to hear we have a fellow DISer right next door.

Planning? Do you all have your days scheduled out or are you just going to play it by ear?

If the most recent navigators are correct I have some things that I know I want to fit in but trying to leave some room for whatever we feel like.

I am hoping that we are on board by noon and have lunch. Then the kids should have a good bit of time to enjoy the pool, maybe look around the ship. Meet up with all our fellow DISers. Then off to grab our life vests for the safety drill.

We are getting off in Nassau early. Plan to be up and meet the princesses at 8:30 that morning then grab a quick breakfast in Parrot Cay and be ready to go ashore at 9:45. In Nassau we are going to try and find a reasonable carriage ride to the Pirate museum and go through it. Then a little bit of shopping before heading back to the boat. There are a couple of things mid day we are going to try to hit onboard. DH and DS are going to go to the Animation class and I plan to take DD to Do-si-do with Snow White.

Castaway Cay we have the stingray encounter booked for 11:00 AM. Plan to spend most of the day on the beach. There are lots of things going on at the Castaway Cay kids clubs that I know they would enjoy. Just not enough time to get them all in.

I can already see that we will probably be chomping at the bit to book another cruise......:wizard:

Hi Cristy,

We are flying down early on the 25th and will be at BWV. We had the same planned for the 26th (DHS) and 27th (MK). The last time I looked Fantasmic is only being shown on 26th. We won't be getting park hoppers this time so we will have to make DHS on that day. Unfortunately we are leaving on the 31st :sad1:, but I may try to fit a park in before heading to MCO since our flight isn't until 7 something.
My DD is counting down at school...every Monday she reminds her teacher that she won't be there for the last week and how many weeks are left.

We're staying at Pop on 5/27 and we're planning to get up and get moving out to the port early-ish on the 28th. I'd love to be onboard enjoying lunch by noonish. Then, we can spend the afternoon in the sun by the pool.

After the cruise, I'm flying home, but Nancy and Brent are staying 2 more nights at Pop, so Nancy can use her free Celebration day on 6/1 to get into the MK for her birthday. Wish I was staying, too.

Fantasmic was the reason for our choice on the 26th also, that and knowing that on our other day at DHS it will be tied up mostly with SWW stuff. Fantasmic is one of my absolute favorite shows!!!!!! We will have to keep an eye out for one another, I'll have my DIS button on my bag I carry in the parks.

Well at least you are still able to have him attend - bummer that you will be leaving later - I bet you'll be dying to leave thinking the whole time through the ceremony about the cruise :yay: My daughter is so excited about her 5th grade Graduation, although it isn't until June 5th.

When is you DS' birthday?

Tammy

My DS birthday is the 27th.

HEY FE EXCHANGE PARENTS

If you have a moment can you please take time to post your kids favorite character and an alternative. If they are older and don't really care for the Disney characters much anymore post what they like.

Thanks!
Cristy

Hey, DS (11) - does not care about characters, maybe Pirates of the Caribbean and DS (1) Cars

I just found this thread! I am a CPA so I have just dug out from tax season. We are on this cruise too. We should fit right in because my oldest DD turns 11 on the 28th. We had originally planned to go on my birthday, the 21st but we changed the week because another family could go with us on the 28th. We are so excited! First Disney cruise for us and first cruise for my 2 DDs. My DH and I have been on Carnival & Royal Car. before kids.

I read about the meet at 3 at the Goofy Pool. We plan to be at the pools as soon as we can get on the ship so I will see you all there.

So much planning and packing to catch up on! All fun!!:cool1:

We are in the early dining rotation.

Christy,

Your plan looks exactly like mine for the Nassau day. We were going to look for a carriage ride to the museum too. We have no other plans. We are going to try to attend the do si do on board. I do want to get a stamp for our passports as well.
