Hi All-

Went to Target and got the last lime green baseball cap. It is wierd how that is such a big color this year! Went to Michael's and got blank Make-your-own pins and will put my Alien green Mickey head in there. That way I can pin it to my beach bag or purse for those times I won't be wearing lime-green!:tilt:

I'm not the best one to answer the door tag question. Kinda confused myself. Back aways in this thread it was discussed how to play a couple different ways.
:goodvibes

Our cruise documents arrived via UPS 3 day select. I haven't had a chance to look them over yet. It is always exciting to see them. I believe if you didn't get yours today, then you will see them in the next day or 2. It could be they are mailed out by alphabet. Our last name starts with a "B" or they could be mailed out in the order of booking. We booked this cruise last year on the Tuesday after Mother's Day.

Whatever is the mailing order, you all should be seeing yours soon. Now I'm going to look to see if I can figure out my dining rotation or if they reveal the formal nights/theme nights. I'll check back later.

If you have yours in hand, have fun!

This will be our 2nd cruise. We did our 1st w/ the 3 day Disney Magic Cruise (along with 10 days in Disney World)

For anyone renting a car at airport, and dropping it at the port with plans to once again rent after the cruise to drop at airport while also needing a child’s booster seat. Be aware that the airport rental agencies may be stocked with lots of booster seats, the agencies by the port do NOT stock them.

We're renting from Enterprise and yesterday when I made the reservation for 6/4, I was told I will need to have them put my name on it and reserve it so they will still have after the cruise.

So, if you're renting a booster seat and need it again after the cruise, make sure they keep it for you.

I just saw your post on the Cruise Line Forum. Thanks for inviting us to Scoops! I thought that meet was for those with children only and we are only a couple. Now that I know different, I hope to be at Scoops to meet all of you. Not sure I can drag my oldest child along who happens to be my husband. :teeth:

I posted the gist of what is in the documents on the Cruise Line Forum. Unfortunately, there isn't one word on theme nights or even which nights are the formal and semi-formal.

The one tidbit in the docs which is useful is what time the terminal is open for us to get in. That is 10:00 a.m. I don't see Disney checking us in that early for sure, though. They will have their first debarkation after a long 14 day repo cruise ahead of us. I think check in will likely take place around noon, but that is just my guess. We will be the first ones to go through the mechanics of the West Coast cruise, so we won't know what to expect.

I'm confident Disney will handle things in their usual professional and guest friendly way, so I'm not too worried. It would just be fun to know and to plan in more detail. Sorry I can't give you more of a scoop. Soon you will have the docs in your hands, too. That alone makes you want to dance.

Moley-
Welcome to our Scoops get together...we definitely need the oversized kids too!

I am so excited about your docs coming! It gives me lots of hope!

Mom&Dad-I'll see you in a couple days to finalize our plans....I get more stuff each day from Tand (I don't think I need to pack as I'll just keep the cruise pile from her and stuff that in a luggage).

Today was my Alex's bday...10 now! 10th Anniversary of Oklahoma Bombing, so that will always be the news of his special day...the ___ anniversary at each of his birthdays.

WE ARE JUST OVER A MONTH AWAY!!!! YIPPEE!!! :cheer2:

Chris: Tell Alex Happy B-day from Tyler and Toby. I am getting ready to plan their combined birthdays next month. Unfortunately, the weekends are filling up pretty fast. Toby turns 9 on May 4th and Tyler turns 11 on May 20th.

I can't believe people are starting to receive their documents. I am having problems just getting our TA to send confirmation of John's Cabo trip (maybe it's because they are holding off until they receive the documents :cool1: ).

GGG - in addition to buying the bball hats at Target, today while doing laundry I found my old lime green WDW t-shirt; so I guess I am now set for our meet.

Everyone please let us know when you get your documents. :cheer2: :cheer2:

So, if you're renting a booster seat and need it again after the cruise, make sure they keep it for you.

Also, most rental cars have headrests in the rear seats, so you could bring a low back booster (just the bottom part) from home so that you don't have to worry about the rental car agency forgetting and renting out your booster. If you don't already have a low back booster, they are usually about $15 at Target or Walmart. Since they are small, I think they are relatively easy to travel with and easy to store under the bed on the cruise. I love having one in our garage for *emergencies* (taking the neighborhood kids for ice cream, picking up friends from school, a quick trip in a friend's car to the park). I use a regular carseat for my petite 4 (err 5 at midnight -- yikes!) daughter, but I'm okay with her using a booster on occasion.

Also, sometimes the cost of renting boosters and carseats is way overpriced (at least in my opinion).

:Pinkbounc We're doing the document with you Moleydance. :Pinkbounc :bounce:  :Pinkbounc :bounce:  :Pinkbounc :bounce:  :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Moley, Who did you book through? We booked the first day ressie were taken through DU.

Ok, Calif. residents what are the laws for booster seats. Brett, ds, is 7 1/2 and is probably the size of a large 7 yr old or regular 8 yr.old. I think he weighs 60 lbs and is 51 inches tall.

Welcome Imitationcrab2000.

I think I'm going to go wait for our UPS man.

UPS Man came with the little box YAHOOO!

Pocono, we made our reservations on the first day too :) but through AAA. My TA told me the docs would come to her and she'd call me; so I pre-emptively called her just now but she's at lunch darnit.

I can't say I'm glad to be sick, but I'm sure glad to be sick NOW and not in five weeks! I got the flu  and have been down for the count for the past four days, am just now recovering. Can't imagine how awful it would be to be sick on the cruise. (not to mention getting everyone else sick too, that would make it a million times worse.)

peace--
Rebecca

Hi Folks,

Please add me to the 3pm Scoops meet! I'll be spending 4 days prior at DL..so if there are any meets there, let me know!

Getting excited about the cruise now...been a year in planning....

See you all real soon!!!

Rebecca,

Feel better. Better be sick now than 2 days before you get onboard.

Every cruise my son has had some sort of sinus infection either right before or during. First cruise the infection came out during our tour in Key West. Poor guy had green gunk coming out of his eyes. The infirmary onboard is efficient. We saw the doctor and she prescribed eye drops and antibotics. It took 3 days for him to start feeling better. No clubs, no swimming! Still turned out to be a great trip.

I'm sending some extra pixie dust to you. :wizard: :wizard: Hopefully a call that your docs have arrived at AAA will make you feel better.

Chris tell Alex we said Happy Birthday! :rockband: :cake:

PS Thanks to everyone about the Calif. booster seat law. Brett will be fine without one.

Great news for all of you getting your docs already. I just emailed my TA asking if he had ours yet. I got this back:

"Disney is strange with their document printing - I just talked to them this morning about the 5/14 cruise where I have one of my client's documents but I am waiting on two others. They said they are running behind and some documents are being printed 14 days before the cruise date."

I hope I'm one of the earlier ones. I booked on the first day possible also.

Alex, How did the documents arrive? Any word on theme nights? I want to know if I need to pack pirate wear, tropical or mexican or all three? Dying to know details! Strange about the repo cruise docs. They must be a big package, so they're probably still working on them! This is all getting so exciting!:Pinkbounc

Chris- tell Alex "Happy Birthday"!

DebWills-Welcome!

WELCOME DebWills, what room are you?

:bday: Happy Birthday Alex!:cake:

And to Rebecca  I hope you feel better real soon... just think MAGICal ( :boat: ) thoughts!

Chris - please wish Alex a happy 10th birthday.

Sarah & Blake have the same birthday and celebrated it last week. Sarah turned 10 as well (I won't say how old DH turned :rolleyes1 ) . She was very excited to finally get her ears pierced :cool1:

All the talk about the documents is getting us very excited. Katie keeps telling me she's dreaming about the Disney cruise and seeing Mickey & Minnie.

I'm going to Target tonight, so I'll be on the lookout for the lime green caps. Hopefully, they're not sold out.

Lara
