It's NEVER too late for Doortag, IMHO! My plan for the master list for doortag was to just hit everybody up at Scoops that first day to put their actual room # on the back of the mickey head and that way the list stays w/the tag (and if someone gets the magic upgrade pixie dust, we won't be bugging the people who are in their "old" room).

Ice cream treats are part of the general perks of the boat as far as I know...this means I will just eat my weight in ice cream before it's all over!

Jedisan-
Thanks for updating/adding to the list...only correction I see is that my DH is not joining us on the cruise because of his work...so my group will be me, DS Alex, DD Emily and the GGG&GrammieGail too.
Also-Tandy is off the list (she's a friend of mine who has now canceled their reservation so she can come off the list...though I'm sure she would LOVE to come have ice cream at Scoops that first afternoon!).

Rose, I'd say it would be too late if the ship was pulling INTO the port in California with all of us onboard! I bet I'm not the only one keeping a running list of names + screen names with cabin numbers and other info. I think it'll keep getting updated right up to the minute we sail, and then some, if anyone checks emails while we're on vacation that is!

So join in for tag!

Anyone know yet what the rules are about alcohol in Mexico re bringing it back with me? I can find info about the Bahamas, Caribbean, etc but nothing on Mexico.

This is the exact wording from Disney on Customs Allowance for our trip:

The maximum exemption is $800.00 per person. Each person 21 years of age and older is limited to (1) liter of alcohol. Each person 18 years of age and older may bring back one carton of cigarettes(200 cigarettes) and 50 cigars. These limits are mandated by U.S. law and are subject to change. Cuban cigars may not be brought back into the United States.

Jedisan, I would like to add my thanks along with the others on this thread for your keeping up with our Meet list. My nickname is really Moley and I'm the wife of the duo. I'm not sure I'll be able to drag my hubby, Bob, along but put him on the list. He has never been known to pass up free ice cream yet. :teeth:

Thanks for all the great responses. I've been updating the list.

We are looking forward to meeting everyone. Can't wait to be able to do the document dance.

I hereby release my wife to continue to chat with the "GIRLS", since yall won't let the men on, not that they could get a line in egdewise. Chris, on my master boat map I have your rooms as 2026-2028 not 2626-2628 are you messing up my diabolical plans?
The Man

I was trying to throw you off....yes, we are actually the 26#s not the 20s...I think I posted it wrong the first time. Please, stay aboard our chatting...it was actually my DAD who first posted about the lime green hats at Target so don't think it's not manly enough....of course, we will have you making some nice lime green scout knots w/the boys while sipping your brew....LOL.
Take care
C

Chris: Boy, you have now gone from two doors down to across the ship and the opposite end. Oh well, we just won't be dropping in unexpectedly. I believe though that you will be on the correct side for when we pull into the different ports to actually see things other than the water.

Well! I can't wait until my DH, G.G.G., gets a chance to catch up on the board. I'll let you know that I have absolutely NO control over what he does including this board. BTY, the green hats were his idea!

As for the green speedo, all I can say is that he doesn't have one and I don't think he will be buying one. Now, if you wear yours, I think I'll :earseek: first, then  :scared1: :faint: :scratchin  :rotfl: :rotfl2: and then :rolleyes1 as I walk away....fast. very fast!

But, in all seriousness, I'm glad that there will be other manly man :hyper: :hyper2: :hyper: :hyper2: :hyper: types for the DH to hang with. It will keep him from missing his homies too much!

I'm not sure if anyone else has read this, but it looks like they are doing a new show for the west coast cruise. It's a continuation of the Cinderella story, starting after she and Prince Charming get married. this will be replacing the Hercules Muse-sicle. :flower:

I'm looking foward to see what other surprised they will have in store for us! :wizard:

I just bought my DH a not-quite-lime-green dress shirt for the formal/semi-formal nights. (Which ever he chooses it for.) He's in Georgia right now ( I am in California) and doesn't know about the "everybody wear green" thing. So, unknowlingly, he'll be the hippest of the bunch! :cool1: I bought the shirt in the Men's department of Macy's, if anyone is so inclined. It may sound a little odd, but it will look very cool with a tie and jacket to mute it a little. So if anyone see's a handsome devil in a lime green shirt, that's my man!
:love2: :dancer:

So, to get us all in a Disney-fied trivia mood, from now on each day I shall post a trivia question, and keep a running tally of scores. By sailing day, bragging rights go to the person/s or families that have the most right answers, and we can announce that at the Scoops meeting! Maybe I'll even bring a prize ;)

Question One:
In an effort to catch Madame Medusa, Bernard and Bianca catch a ride with a dragonfly. What is its name?

 :cheer2:

Let the games begin!

Here's the description of the new Cinderella show...
This new show is based on what occurs following the wedding of Cinderella and Prince Charming. Cinderella's evil stepmother and stepsisters are determined to undo the charm of the glass slippers. They summon the assistance of the evil Fairy Godfather of Lady Tremaine. Mayhem ensues as this wicked quartet attempts to undermine the course of true love. There will be two classic songs from Cinderella performed and six brand new original songs.

There has also been an "amendment" to the dress code...
Jeans are now acceptable attire under the revised "Cruise Casual" dress policy. It is still requested that guests do not wear shorts, swimwear or tank tops to the dining rooms. The attire is determined by the day, not the restaurant with the exception of Palo. The seven night cruise has a formal night, semi-formal night, pirate/tropical night and four "Cruise Casual" nights.
:cool1:  :Pinkbounc :bounce: :cheer2:

Becky, if you are going to post trivia don't start with the easy ones, the answer of course is Evinrude. A real challange would be how many gallons of tea would it take to fill a teacup at the Mad Hatter's ride? Let the games begin MuHaHaHa
The Man

Had to let in a warm-up question!

Score:

EnchantedPlayroom aka Brandy: 1

Tune in tomorrow! :cool1:
(I will post it later so the west coasties have a fair shot)

Did you guys see this....or is this old news?

An exclusive show is debuting on the Disney Magic. Scheduled for the first night, it follows the tale of a young cruise guest who dreams of becoming the ship's captain. Mickey, Minne and a host of Disney characters guide him on his journey of discovery.
