Welcome Pamela! So glad more people are starting to join, can't believe we're only just over 6 months away! The FE thing is really fun. you basically make or buy something to hang over the fish hook outside your door, like a pocket organizer, and people put in little gift surprises. They can be anything from homemade trinkets, to candies, to little toys, etc. The fun is just coming back to your room and finding surprises in it. Basically someone volunteers to organize a sign up list that cuts off about 1-2 months prior to sail date which gives people time to know how many gifts to make/buy, and some people even customize them with names or things geared to the kids ages, etc but its totally up to you. Then they would distribute a list right before sailing with the participating staterooms on it so you know where to drop your gifts off. its that simple! I have volunteered to do it for our cruise since I've done it a few times before and dont mind doing it if no one else wants to.Hi everyone! Thought I'd introduce myself since we'll be on this cruise. My name is Pamela and we are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids ages 1 and 4 at the time of sailing. This is not our first Disney cruise but it is the first for our youngest and we have never done the FE thing before so we'd love to join in on that. I'd love to hear more info on how it all works and ideas for gifts and such. I am so excited for this trip and I'm looking forward to chatting with you all as our dates come closer!![]()

Hope this answers your questions!
You can post your information here on the thread if you don't mind doing so. Its up to you- some people dont mind putting it on the thread and others do. Dont worry we have plenty of time to sign up so if you would rather wait until you have 7 more posts to be able to PM, you'll be there in no time (especially if you ask questions on the main board!) and then you can PM me later.Hey Nicole...as I only have 1 post, I cannot PM you...any suggestions? I hate to post senselessly just to get 8 more!

I am so glad to be able to connect with kids the same ages as mine! I have an 11 yo DS and DD who is 9. They act like they will be glad to be in different clubs...but secretly they wish they were together. It will help getting to know some kids their age. If interested PM me and we can exchange emails.Second sailing on the Dream for us. DH and I went last April without the children! This time we will have our Daughter (14), Son (11) and Daughter (8). They will all be eligible to be in the 3 different kids spaces. Anyone have any children same ages? Hoping to find them a penpal before we cruise. It's so cold here in PA today. I am dreaming about the warm sand of Castaway Cay. ooooooooo
