Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! Now I'm even more excited.

I was just on that same cruise! Wasn't our weather fabulous? Welcome to the family here.

Yes, the weather was just perfect! We were on the August hurricane cruise so I was having flashbacks as we pulled out to sea and into the clouds on Thursday but the rest of the weekend was fabulous. We lucked out!

We are back from our trip to WDW to look at Christmas decorations. WOW! They were awesome. The deluxe resorts do go all out. We also went on the Holiday D-lights and Yule tide tours to learn more about the behind the scenes at Christmas. The candle light processional was also awesome. Highly recommend if anyone gets to go at Christmas time.

Now to concentrate on the cruise!

My children got giftcards for Christmas and I put them on our account yesterday and minutes later they assigned our GTY room. We did not get an upgrade, but we did get the floor and the area I preferred.

Hey guys! It's been a LONG time since I've been here and I'm sure that I've missed a TON!!! I'm pretty sure that my family is on the FE exchange list, but I don't know of anything else that's out there. Let me know what I've missed!!

Just a recap - It's myself (Amy), my husband (Chris) and daughters (Emily - 10) and (Madison - 8). This will be our 9th DCL cruise, since our oldest was just 2 and I was pregnant with my "baby". And...we're hooked!!! We headed out on the Dream for a quick 3-night cruise in September and they all loved it, especially the AquaDuck. Of course, it was WAY too short, and they are all dying to go on a longer cruise. We booked this SO long ago, that I think that they forgot that we're sailing on the Fantasy this year, and I think that I'm going to see if I can keep it a secret.

So, fill me in on what I've missed and I hope to be here more...Amy

Has anybody decided on any excursions you're planning on taking? Our kids would like to swim with dolphins, but I'm feeling guilty about the captivity of those poor animals If we decide to do it, has anyone done it in any of the ports where we will be stopping? I read on the boards that one of the places in Cozumel with the dolphins had ice cold water! I hate cold water! Does anyone know if this is with all dolphin encounters?​

We drive over, from the west coast of FL and I've stayed at both the Radisson and Country Inn & Suites and both of them are very good.

Well we had Thanksgiving and Christmas, and oh New Year's... Haha, just kidding.. Couldn't resist. I tried to keep the cruise a secret from my kids, but I just couldn't hold it in any more... They both know now. I am still planning the Cruise easter baskets and already started buying items for it and then we will do the countdown. I think we are going to Sunday Disney night theme nights until the cruise.

We started relooking at the excursions this morning. I can not speak to Dolphin encounters we have never done one. I did book a personal driver for Cozumel ages ago. I am sure there is a ton of information about them though in cruise reports if you did a search Dolphin Encounters.
