I booked our night of the 25th at the La Quinta Beachfront. It is about a mile or so from the port, but the rooms are oh so nice looking out over the ocean.

Have you stayed there before and seen the rooms yourself? Would much rather stay somewhere someone can vouch for!

Yes, we stayed there for 2 nights before our last Wonder Cruise in December of 2010. Our room was on the side of Cocoa Beach Pier but on our balcony our view of the ocean was fantastic. Even with night time activity on the pier we were not disturbed with excessive noise.

I have been staying in La Quinta's since 2007 and I am a member of their rewards program and this stay is totally free since I am using my points from previous stays. I have not found any of their hotels that are not first class. Even the older ones are very nicely kept up. Their service is great and the continental breakfast is alway good.

I am sorry to say that we had to move this trip to 2013. My husband got a wonderful job opportunity so we will be moving at this time. I know that you all will have a blast and hate that we will miss it.

We are getting ready to book airfare and will probably be staying at the Hyatt in the airport on the 25th since our exchange student and her Mom will be coming in from Germany it will be easier for them to meet us there and use the Disney Transfer.

Can you believe we are around the 5 month mark... Now that it is getting cold here in Atlanta I have been daydreaming about the cruise

I did not realize how much I have missed lately, the new show, the muppets.. There are so many new and cool things on the Fantasy.

How is everyone else? I think I have just about finished my holiday shopping. Just a few more items to pick up and then it's time to wrap all of this crazy stuff.

We are headed to WDW Sunday morning for a 4 night trip. We have never been there for the Christmas decorations. So I haven't been thinking much about the cruise.

Love Disney at Christmas! You will enjoy yourself so much. If you have time make sure to tour the deluxe hotels. They are all just beautifully decorated at Christmas

I second that! Really is the best time to go for us and the deluxe hotels are a must see. Grand Floridian is really one you should see if that is the only one you can do.

It is amazing how fast time is passing.
I think I only have to buy for a couple of nieces and one nephew and then I should be done. Might pick up some more stuff for my grandkids, who knows.

My two kids and I just got back from an 11 day stay at WDW. It was great. The weather was perfect and the crowds were manageable. Now I can really concentrate on the cruise.
