We are doing the Stingray CityReef Sail & Snorkel in Grand Cayman through Disney. Anyone else done this before or doing it this trip? I had DCL gift cards to use and was a little too uneasy to book on my own since there is not a huge amount of time at this port. In Cozumel my 16 year old is doing the Royal Swim at Chankannab National Park on our own. We will take a taxi to the CNP and then decide if the 11 year old wants to do anything as well.

Just planning to walk around in Costa Maya and spend time on the boat.

I've booked a non-DCL jet-ski tour with Ebanks Watersports to stingray city and Snorkling at the barrier reef while we are at Grand Cayman. Has anyone ever done this before? I'd love to get some feedback. I saw some great reviews about a company called Fat Fish, but they didn't have a tour that would fit within the time frame that we would be in port. Fat Fish referred me to Ebanks.

We're doing the Fury Catamaran Sail and Snorkle with DCL in Cozumel at 8:45. Anybody else doing this? I would love to see some DISers :)

In Costa Maya, we're just going to walk around for a bit and shop.

What is everyone else doing?

Laura

I have read a ton of great reviews on the jet ski excursion in Grand Cayman! That was one of my top picks when we started looking at this cruise and excursions. I can't wait to hear what you think of it.

I think we overbooked on excursions, but we have never been to any of these ports before (well except Castaway Cay) and there was so much we wanted to do!

We are doing the same excursion in Grand Cayman. Our activity time is 1145-415. Is this the same as yours? We did this trip on our own many years ago and loved it. Looking forward to the kids experiencing it! We were uneasy about the short day in Grand Cayman as well so we chose to book through DCL. Our DD's are 17 and 13 :)

Has anyone brought their own water on board or have you been happy with the ship water? We are debating bringing a case of our own, but I know drinks are plentiful! I think we would mainly take them on shore excursions.

In the past we have either brought our own water or last year on the Med Cruise we bought it on board (EXPENSIVE!)......

However, I've read somewhere on these boards that the water on the ship is triple RO filtered. (if search was working I'd try to find the thread - ;)!) We have a personal RO at home, so figured this time we'd just bring some plastic water bottles and fill from the ship for when we go on shore. We also drink carbonated water (plain) at home so thinking of stopping and getting a couple of limes and drinking that when we are on ship so I won't have to go to the bar and bug them for a slice of lime - :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Just MHO!

We did the Fat Fish tour two years ago and it was a BLAST. Its so much better going out there on a Jet ski!

Both of my daughters are traveling with us (ages 23 and 20). Right now they are both very involved with school and studying for finals so if you can just post if you know of anything going on for your age group or if any one comes up with ideas to get together I will pass them on to them. Thanks :)

My daughter will also be on the cruise. She is 22 and is very involved wth final projects before she graduates. Please keep me informed and I'll pass the information onto to her.

Yes, my info is correct and we do want to be included. Already have at least one recipe. We have so many good ones in Texas!!!

Do we have a time for the On Board meet yet? Trying to get all our info entered into TripIt so we can keep track of ourselves.... :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Again, a sincere thanks to everyone who is putting all of this stuff (FE Group, Postcard Exchange, Lanyard, Roll Call, etc.) together for us all to have fun!

I think 3:00 was the time agreed on.

We'll be on the Fury Catamaran trip with you in Cozumel. It looks like we also have kids the same age as yours, only my 13 year old is a girl (& our son is 11). We'll just be wandering in Costa Maya as well. See you there!

Perfect! I've seen great reviews for this excursion, so it should be alot of fun and I'm glad to see that the kids will have others their age to play with :beach:

DH and I went on the Fury Catamaran excursion in 2010. It was fantastic! The snorkeling was awesome, then they take you to a beautiful beach where there are huge water toys anchored in the ocean or plenty of beach chairs to just relax. On our way back to the ship they played music and had margaritas (or water) for everyone. They even played music and people were dancing on the deck of the catamaran as it pulled back into the port! It was wonderful! I'm sure you'll all have a blast!
