We did champagne and mixology on the dream. I would recommend both. Very excited to try some different ones.

. . . just checked last night and it appears that our cruise has no availability remaining whatsoever. I guess we are at full passenger capacity. Although I do not enjoy crowds, I am sure like our other cruises on DCL, it will still be relaxing! See you all there.

Hello fellow cruisers! I just found this board and am so excited! My DH and myself are taking our daughters (18, 14, & 11) on our last cruise as a family. My oldest graduates high school the day before and this has been her wish since she started school!

question: we really, really want to join a FE group - is there a latecomer group we can join? And is the Secret Mickey group still open?

Can't wait to fly out of New Mexico on May 24!

I'll need your names and stateroom number.

Since I HATE to see sad faces, I'm going to open up the Latecomer's group since I've gotten a couple more requests. WITH the understanding that folks in that group may have already purchased all their FE needs and might not be able to restock before the cruise.

LATECOMER'S GROUP - Keep checking the list for additions. I'll post here whenever we get more folks, and we'll just have to do our best to keep the magic flowing.

I'm doing the mixology this cruise, and I think that Pam's joining me. Last May I did the Cognac tasting. MMMMMM. Sort of buzzed when I got out of that one!

Got my Mickey Mail from the cruise yesterday. Now i'm just waiting on Mickey Mail from the resorts. Don't those normally come around a month in advance as well?

Yes, it is usually within the last 30 days. I am still waiting on ours too. I hope it arrives this week.

Sounds like fun to me too. I plan on doing the mixology and margarita tastings and DH wants to do the beer tastings. Don't we have to check on this first thing at Guest Services when we get on the ship like Palo wherever that will be?

Idk. Last year I was concierge so they handled it for me. The navigator said sign up at guest services for most tastings. But some listed other locations

Ok the april 13 2013 navigator list the following tastings most on sea days.

beer
champagne
martini
new world wine
mixology
amari
whiskey
chocolate
rum
tequila and margarita
cognac

Me and my hubby will be trying to sign up for the martini and tequila/margarita and rum. Anyone want to join us. I don't know how many people they accept for each tasting. Last year it seem to be a small group. I hope we can get in to all of our choices.

Disney usually PremEARS a movie in the Walt Disney Theater. I'm hoping we'll get to see Monsters University, but it's probably a stretch since it doesn't come out until June 16th I Think. Im sure at the least Oz will be playing in the movie theater onboard.

The 1 and only tasting I've done Is the Tequila and that was $10. I think they are all between $10-$20 they are very reasonable.

I plan on seeing Oz myself even if I'm watching it alone lol! I had no idea they had so many tastings, but don't know if we'll sign up for any. My stepson would probably like the beer or mixology.

Hey, We have 7 and 8 year old girls who are awesome with babies and would love to meet yours, you'll have little mother's helpers anytime you need one...lol...i was a maternity nurse for 10 years, nationally certified in maternal/child nursing, my girls love babies even more than I do!

And we love drinks at Sail away...really anytime, it's 5 o'clock somewhere on vacation!! We are 41 and 43 but isn't every one a kid on a Disney cruise?? . You'll LOVE DCL!! It's our 3rd cruise with DCL and we already talking about booking the next one. . See you soon!!

Nice! Always nice to have an extra set of eyes....I read DCL allows own alcohol on board, will be nice to bring our own. Need touch a spot and time and we will be there. Hoping to find some adult fun on board.

Ill be doing almost everything alone since it'll be just my dd and myself on the cruise. She'll be doing activities at the Edge and I'm doing my own thing. At least at dinner and during our shore excursions I won't be alone. .
