My husband and son had to convince me, and it took them almost 3 years! We kept going in and test driving....probably drove the dealership crazy. But I'm glad we waited, because we got the Clubman, which is just a bit bigger (I can actually put groceries in the back) and I like it much better than just the Mini.

And YES! I love my baby. My license plate says "ZIPPIDY".

I had wanted the Pontiac Soltice....2 seater roadster...but since we still have Jared at home, we decided we'd need the backseat for a while yet.

My other car, by the way, is a YukonXL....it's weird to switch back and forth between the two.

I have a Solstice and LOVE IT.

I have 1025 DDR and ordered 2 cards for DH and me! We have been living off the Disney Visa for 2 years- I charge everything and then enter it in my checkbook like the money is already spent. Then when I get the bill the money is already set aside. We even put our big house painting job on it! Now I'm struggling with what to do with the money- is it tips and excursions? Is it beer, wine, konk coolers and souveniers? Is it tickets and adrs for our 2 days at WDW after DCL?

So you see, no matter how many free Disney dollars you have-IT'S NEVER ENOUGH!!!

There was just a thread on the Main Boards where someone wanted to know if her husband could wear flip-flops to Palo DINNER.
If they are now insisting on ties, then I have a feeling Mr. FlipFlop will get turned away at the door.

I can't believe that in 2 weeks, we'll be driving down to FL!!!

I got another tiny thing checked off of my list last night. I bought a Mickey dress a couple of months ago & it needed to be altered. Finally sat down at the sewing machine last night & got that taken care.

Made myself a dr. appt. for this afternoon. I'm battling with the sinuses again. Probably the real reason why I'm going is that I don't want anyone to think that I have the swine flu!!!! Besides, I always tend to get infections so I need this knocked out before we leave. Yesterday I was so dizzy that I had to catch myself from falling when I leaned over. The dizziness has subsided today but my cheeks are KILLING me.

It wouldn't make you envious if you saw me trying to drive it in Massachusetts winters! It's my year round car... but the joy of driving it in the spring and summer makes up for the snow... and for the lack of space. Luckily, my husband-to-be has a pickup truck - we only take the Sol out for fun when we're going somewhere together. If shopping of any kind is involved, it's either the truck or Bill has all the packages on his lap!

Yep! We just bought the Saturn Sky...pretty much the same as a solstice...slightly different body. Love, love ,love it! But it is our date car and sunny weather car...can't imagine trying to drive it in the snow!

Is anyone still planning on doing the baths while in Tortola? Doing it on your own...and not through DCL? Just curious...I am still considering it/still deciding what to do in Tortola. Just can't see paying the DCL prices for this excursion.

Have you read what the other cruisers have been saying? I've only skimmed it, but I think some of them went to the Baths on their own.

I always have to stop and think before I go to the grocery store. Am I doing BIG shopping? If so, I have to remember to take the YukonXL.

Lately I've had my eye on the new Camaro. Part of me wishes I'd known they were bringing it back out, I might have waited another year and gotten that instead of the Mini. My first car was a Camaro, and I loved it.

I'm on the phone with DCL right now and all their information says it is still staggered. I wonder if the ship was trying out switching? Or if they haven't bothered to tell the home office.

Someone who got off the ship on 5/2 said they had just two times also. It does not surprise me that the DCL phone reps are clueless about this. I don't think they train them about what really goes on onboard and how many other times have DISers been the ones to inform a rep of what is happening with a booking or a special?

I called special accounts at DCL. She read the information right off their intranet.

THERE YOU GO!!! Their website isn't up to date about a few things that changed last year. I doubt that the change will be made on the site until 2010 sometime.
